POINTS OF DISCOURSE: The MAPEH Coordinator called for an urgent meeting regarding the agenda
discussed in the MAPEH Coordinators meeting held at Jaime J. Vistan High School. The following
agenda will relay to the MAPEH Teachers of Tall High School:

c. Requirements of Athletes
- Intervention Program for learners and teachers, Certification of the

 NARRATIVE REPORT
LEARNING ACTION CELL ( LAC SESSION)
OCTOBER 25, 2018

The MAPEH department of Taal High School organized an interactive Learning Action

Cell (LAC) Sessions and Seminar-Workshop regarding on the Mastery of Skills in MAPEH and

discussion of documents needed for the upcoming Provincial Meet on October 25, 2018 at Taal

High School.

The program started with a prayer led by Ms. Ma. Agnes Pangan, f ollowed by an

energizer through the effort of Mr. Allan Dave Guillermo. Mr. Vvon Ryan Besa welcomes

everyone warmly on the LAC session. Mr. Besa, as the facilitator, led his teachers in checking

the documents needed for Provincial meet.

Mr. Besa had also discussed about Coaching as he experienced being a coach for almost

a decade. He said that however coaching is really challenging, still, it is a great way to influence

the lives of others while also building their character. For as long as there have been sports,

there have been people teaching the sport to the players and making them better at it.

The best part of discussion is when he said that for you and for your team to obtain

success, you must have certain qualities because he believed that a player also look at a coach’s

motivation for his or her job, his passion for what he or she does, his methods for coaching, and

how he or she became a coach in order to fully understand him or her.

For clarification, some of the members of the LAC session asked many questions

regarding documents and papers needed to accomplished before the provincial meet. Some are

personal questions like Why did Mr. Besa choose coaching as part of his Teaching profession?

How did he get into coaching? What does one have to do to be the best coach?

The LAC session ends with a prayer led by Ms. Narcisa Herrera as we give thanks in all

knowledge and wisdom for the entire period of the LAC Session.

CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by the English Coordinator, Ma’am Erlinda G.
Cruz.

POINTS OF DISCOURSE: English teachers in the grade 8 level held another learning action cell.

This is to discuss the budget of work for the 2nd grading period. The LAC Session was led by

Ma.am Erlinda G. Cruz in which she shares what she had searched about the lessons in English

8. She suggested on what could be the most appropriate strategies to utilize for a certain topic

and the activities for the given topics. She reiterated the strategies and small group differentiated

activities to be employed in teaching should be based on SMART and can be done by the

students without taking too much difficulty.

CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order by the English Coordinator, Ma’am Erlinda G.
Cruz.

POINTS OF DISCOURSE:. Learning Action Cell in English was held where in Ma’am Erlinda

G. Cruz, MT II in English, in the absence of Ma’am Virgie who attended the coordinators’ and

head teachers meeting at the division office, presided the session. She imparted to her co teachers

that budget of work , the teaching had direction and a teacher can come up with a lot of

planning. The lessons to be taught would be side by side with the grade level teachers and

lessons would not be rambled. Teachers also learned how to make use of curriculum guide and

make the topics congruent according to the learning competencies. She also reminded her co

teachers on giving students opportunities to learn and understand the lessons by providing

differentiated activities and make use of students feedback to improve teaching instructions.

Ang pangwakas na programa sa selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wika ay naganap

noong ika-3 ng Setyembre taong 2018. Sa pamumuno ng guro sa palatuntunan, G. Jessie
Santiago ay pormal itong sinimulan sa ganap na alas-11 ng umaga sa covered court na paaralan.

Sinimulan ang palatuntunan sa pamamagitan ng isang pambungad na panalangin na

pinangunahan ni Bb. Dianne Zamora, guro sa ikasiyam na baitang. Kasunod nito ang pag-awit
ng pambansang awit na pinamunuan ng koro ng paaralan sa pagkumpas ni Bb. Clarissa Lazaro,
guro sa MAPEH.

Matapos nito, nagbigay ng pambungad na pananalita ang punong-guro ng paaralan, G.

Jeffrey DC. Basilio. Pinaalala nito ang kahalagahan ng pagtangkilik sa Wikang Filipino
gayundin ang pagpapaalala sa mga mag-aaral ng Taal na maging disiplinado sa lahat ng
pagkakataon. Kasunod nito ang paggagawad ng sertipiko sa mga nagwaging kalahok sa ginanap
na iba’t ibang patimpalak sa pamumuno ng Departamento ng Filipino. Para sa ikapitong baitang
nagwagi si Benedict Aboga sa paligsahan sa masining na pagkukwento, sa ikawalong baitang
naman ay si Vhence Jericho Tapang sa paligsahan sa talumpating handa, ang pangkat naman ng
9-1 ang nagkamit ng unang gantimpala para sa sabayang pagbigkas at sina Janine Gante, Danika
Hermosa at John Gervacio ng ikasampung baitang ang nagwagi sa Balagtasan. Ang lahat ng
nagkamit ng unang gantimpala ay nagtanghal gamit ang kanilang mga pinalunang pyesa
gayundin naman ay nagtanghal ang piling mga mag-aaral na lumahok sa nakaraang tagisan ng
talino.

Nagwakas ang programa sa ganap na alas-12:15 sa pangwakas na pananalita ng pang-

ulong guro sa Ingles, Gng. Virginia M. Cordero.

Bilang pagdiriwang ng taunang selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, ang

lahat ng mag-aaral ng Taal High School ay nakilahok sa iba’t ibang patimpalak na
pinangasiwaan ng Departamento ng Filipino katuwang ang pang-ulong guro ng Ingles at
Filipino, Gng. Virginia M. Cordero.

Ang bawat baitang ay may kanya-kanyang patimpalak na isinagawa. Sa Baitang 7 ay

Masining na Pagkukwento, Talumpati sa Baitang 8, Sabayang Sagbigkas sa Baitang 9 at sa
Baitang 10 naman ay Balagtasan.

Isinagawa ang Sabayang Bigkas ng Ikasiyam na Baitang noong ika-29 ng Agosto sa

ganap na 11:00 ng umaga sa covered court ng paaralan. Si G. Jessie Santiago ang tumayong guro
ng palatuntunan. Sinumulan ang programa sa pangunguna ng isang mag-aaral sa ikasiyam na
baitang para sa pambungad na panalangin. Matapos nito, ipinakilala na rin ang tumayong mga
hurado sa nasabing paligsahan, kinabibilangan ito nina Gng. Ophelia Cruz, Gng. Lilibeth Rivera
at Gng. Myla Villanueva.

Ang bawat kalahok na pangkat ay bumunot ng numero na magsisilbing pagkakasunod-

sunod ng magiging pagtatanghal. Ang unang nagtanghal ay ang pangkat ng 9-10 sunod ng
pangkat 9-6, 9-5, 9-3, 9-11, 9-8, 9-1, 9-7, 9-2, 9-12, 9-9 at ang huli ay ang pangkat ng 9-4. Bawat
isang pangkat ay nagpakita ng angking husay at galing sa pyesang isinulat ni Patrocinio
Villafuerte na pinamagatang Filipino sa Pambansang Kalayaan at Pagkakaisa.

Sa huli ay nangibabaw ang pagtatanghal ng 9-1 na nagkamit ng unang karangalan, sunod

ay ang pangkat ng 9-6 at ang nakakuha ng ikatlong pwesto ay ang pangkat ng 9-8. Ang
paggawad ng sertipiko sa mga nagwagi ay igagawad sa pagsasara ng pagdririwang sa Lunes,
Setyembre 3, 2018.

Departamentalized Learning Action Cell

Departamento ng Filipino

Agenda: Makapagbahagi ng mga bagong kaalaman at estratehiya sa pagtuturo ng Filipino

sa pamumuno ng lumahok sa Seminar

Ang LAC ay ginanap noong ika-25 ng Oktubre sa silid ng 8-3, ganap na 8:30 ng umaga.
Dinaluhan ito ng 10 guro sa Filipino sa pangunguna ni Gng. Lilibeth Rivera. Sinimulan ang
pagpupulong sa pambungad na panalangin ni Gng. Myla Villanueva, guro sa ikapitong baitang.

Matapos ang panalangin ay ginanyak ni Gng. Rivera ang kapwa guro sa Filipino sa
pamamagitan ng isang video clip kung saan makikita ang mga hirap o hinaing na nararanasan ng
isang guro. Sunod na binigyang-pansin sa pulong ang kahalagahan ng paggamit ng wastong
balarila gaya ng paggamit ng ng at nang, may at mayroon at marami pang iba na dapat
pagtuunan ng pansin sa pagtuturo ng asignatura.

Ibinahagi rin ng guro ang kanyang mga natutunan mula kay Pat Villafuerte na
makatutulong nang malaki sa mga gurong nagtuturo ng Filipino. Nariyan at tinalakay ang
maikling kwento, talumpati at ang pagkakaiba ng spoken word at spoken poetry.

Matapos ibahagi ni Gng. Rivera ang kanyang kaalaman ay nagpaalala naman si Gng.
Virginia Cordero ng mga bagay na kailangang pagtuunan ng pansin ng bawat isa. Ito ay ang mga
sumusunod;

1. Obligasyon at Responsibilidad ng isang guro sa loob ng paaralan

2. Estratehiya sa pagtuturo ng Asignatura
3. Paghahanda ng DLL at pagpasa nito sa takdang araw
4. Obserbasyon sa klase (4 na beses sa loob ng isang taon)
5. SIM / CIP
6. Pagsasaayos ng hardin ng departamento
7. Paggawa ng DLL tungkol sa droga
8. Pagpapasa ng grading sheets para sa ikalawang markahan
