Visual Arts
○ Our Visual Arts teacher, Ms. Capalbo will work collaboratively with teachers in order to help
students recognize societal, historical and cultural significance of art. This will be achieved by
connecting the visual arts to other disciplines while also allowing students to apply their skills and
knowledge learned to the real world. Additionally, students will develop individual and global
perspectives on art, utilize principles of art and explore perspective, scale and point of view. This
will be achieved through units centered on but not limited to painting, drawing sculpture and
collage.
