1. Task Distribution:

Anam Altaf made the survey form.

Sobia Ijaz did the research work.

Muhammad Irfan Malik made the report.
Muhammad Kamran Khan encouraged the students to fill the survey.
Abstract
The topic of the report was physical activities. The survey was conducted at UET Lahore by
generating google survey forms. We received 62 responses and it was concluded that 62.9%
participants told that their physical activities have declined after joining the university. 63.9% of
participants claimed the reason that they don’t find time to play. Major suggestion of participants
was that there should be some mandatory period/class to attend some physical activity in which
student is interested.

2.1. Introduction:
Physical education, also known as Phys Ed., PE and in some common wealth countries as physical
training or PT is a class that pupils are required to take at school. It is taken during primary and
secondary education and encourages psychomotor learning in a play or movement exploration
setting to promote health.

Whether the class produces positive effects on students' health, behavior, and academic
performance depends upon the kind of program that is taught. Physical Education programs vary all
over the world. However, there are worldwide organizations that allow for a better understanding
on how much exercise a child should be getting daily.

2.2. Importance:

Physical education in high school is essential to the development of motor skills and the
enhancement of reflexes. Hand-eye coordination is improved, as well as good body movements,
which helps in the development of a healthy body posture. Physical education teaches students the
importance of physical health.

Why we had choose this topic? we realized that the most of the students in our institute have
health, confidence, competence and teamwork issues. So we decided to take this topic to take
initiative.

3. Conclusion:

Physical activities are essential building blocks of health, confidence, competence and teamwork.
There are approximately 43%obese persons (20-40yr). If we introduce a physical education course in
the curriculum, it will reduce the stress, disparity level and mental exhaustion, and groom their
personality and make them a good human being.
