sisa (por encima de las mangas A, B) colocando el doblez a 5/8" (1.5cm) del borde no
terminado volviendo hacia dentro y cruzando un extremo en la costura del lado. Cosa.
Recorte la costura; haga cortes en las curvas.
25. Vuelva la cinta hacia el INTERIOR; planche volviendo las mangas A, B hacia el
exterior. Hilvane cerca del borde interior. En el EXTERIOR, haga un pespunte de
adorno siguiendo el hilván.
MANGAS C
26. Para fruncir la parte superior de la manga entre las muescas, cosa con puntadas
largas cerca de la línea de costura y a 1/4” (6mm) en el INTERIOR de la línea de
costura. Cosa la costura del debajo del brazo. Planche 5/8” (1.5cm) hacia el
INTERIOR en el borde inferior para formar la jareta. Planche un doblez de 1/4" (6mm)
en el borde no terminado. Cosa cerca del borde interior de la jareta dejando una
abertura para insertar el elástico.
27. Corte un pedazo de elástico para cada manga del largo de la guía para el elástico de
la manga. Inserte el elástico en la jareta y ajuste. Cosa juntos los extremos del
elástico firmemente. Cierre la abertura cosiéndola.
MANGAS D
28. Para fruncir la parte superior de la manga entre las muescas, cosa con puntadas
largas cerca de la línea de la costura y a 1/4” (6mm) en el INTERIOR de la línea de
costura.
Para hacer los pliegues, en el EXTERIOR, doble a lo largo de las líneas continuas.
Coloque los dobleces en las líneas interrumpidas; prenda con alfileres. Hilvane a
través del borde no terminado.
29. Cosa la costura del debajo del brazo.
30. Cosa juntos los extremos con muescas del ribete de la manga. Planche un doblez de
5/8” (1.5cm) en el borde sin muescas; recorte a 1/4” (6mm).
31. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres el ribete en el borde inferior de la
manga, casando las costuras. Cosa.
32. Planche el ribete hacia el exterior, volviendo la costura hacia el ribete. En el
INTERIOR, prenda con alfileres el borde planchado del ribete por encima de la
costura, colocando los alfileres en el EXTERIOR. En el EXTERIOR, cosa el ribete en
la costura, atrapando el borde planchado en el INTERIOR. Quite los alfileres a medida
que cosa.
COMO COSER LAS MANGAS EN LAS SISAS C, D
33. Vuelva la manga al DERECHO. Mantenga la prenda sobre el REVES, con la sisa
hacia usted. DERECHO CON DERECHO, prenda con alfileres la manga en la sisa
con el punto pequeño del centro en la costura de los hombros, casando las costuras
del debajo del brazo y los puntos pequeños restantes. Tire de los hilos de frunce para
ajustar.
Para distribuir la amplitud uniformemente, deslice la tela por los
hilos de la canilla. Hilvane. Cosa. Vuelva a coser 1/8” (3mm) del primer pespunte en el
margen de la costura. Debajo de las muescas, recorte la costura a ras del pespunte.
Planche solamente el margen de la costura.
DOBLADILLO A, B, D, E
34. Planche el dobladillo. Planche un doblez de 1/4" (6mm) en el borde no terminado.
Cosa cerca del borde interior planchado.
DOBLADILLO C
35. Planche el dobladillo. Para hacer el ACABADO en el borde no terminado...Cosa un
doblez de 1/4" (6mm) o cosa con puntadas de zig-zag O de overlock/sobrehilado.
Cosa el dobladillo con puntadas falsas.
ACABADO A
36. En el EXTERIOR, cosa juntos los bordes del frente. Cosa el botón debajo de la
presilla.
ACABADO B
En el EXTERIOR, coloque perlas variadas en la banda del frente, como se
muestra en el sobre del patrón o segun su gusto.
ACABADO C
37. En el EXTERIOR, haga puntos de festón en el borde del frente, del escote, el borde
inferior del vestido y el borde superior de los bolsillos.
Para hacer el punto de festón, cosiendo de la IZQUIERDA a la DERECHA, inserte la
aguja en A (borde terminado). Luego inserte la aguja en B, a 1/2" (1.3cm) y sáquela
en C directamente abajo. Siga procediendo de la misma manera y notando que el
punto C es ahora el punto A. Cosa usando puntadas e intervalos iguales.
ADORNO D
38. En el EXTERIOR, prenda con alfileres el galón estirable en el borde del escote
dejando extender los extremos 18” (45.5cm) fuera de los bordes del frente. Cosa
cerca de los bordes largos y del borde del frente. Para fijar cosa cerca de los extremos
del adorno, haga un doblez de 1/4” (6mm) en los extremos o anúdelos.
LAZO E
39. Doble el lazo por la mitad y por su largo, DERECHO CON DERECHO. Cosa el borde
con muescas con una costura de 3/8" (1cm). Recorte la costura.
40. Vuelva el lazo al DERECHO. Coloque los extremos en el centro por DEBAJO,
cruzándolos 3/8" (1cm). Cosa a lo largo del centro del lazo.
41. Doble la presilla por la mitad y por su largo, DERECHO CON DERECHO. Cosa
el borde con muescas con una costura de 3/8" (1cm).
42. Vuelva la presilla al EXTERIOR colocando la costura en el centro por DEBAJO;
planche.
43. Frunza el centro del lazo y enrolle la presilla alrededor, volviendo un extremo
hacia dentro y cruzándolo por DEBAJO. Cosa los extremos firmemente
atrapando el lazo por DEBAJO.
44. En el EXTERIOR, prenda con alfileres el lazo en la banda del frente, casando los
centros y colocando la presilla en la costura inferior, como se muestra. Cosa la
presilla y los extremos del lazo con puntadas falsas.
