i) Seal operating data,

ii) Direction of Rotation (Uni-Direction Seal are

very sensitive to direction of rotation)

2.1 iii) Seal axial & radial movement,   

iv) Balancing and test speed,

v) NACE applicability / compliance of Materials of

Construction including that of elastomers. For
Wet H2S service Kalrez is used.

vi) Losses in dry gas seal,

vii) Utility requirement etc.

2.2 Check overall dimensional details in seal drawing.   

Check location and orientation of all ports in Seal Cartridge in line
with relevant P&ID :

part nos. indicated to Dry gas seal drawing Ensure that the material
