FILM PRODUCTION SCHEDULE ALERT& MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

SYNOPSIS

This project titled “FILM PRODUCTION SCHEDULE ALERT& MANAGEMENT

SYSTEM” its an application based system which helps the film production company to make

the film shooting process easy and it helps to prevent money from useless or unwanted things. In

today the cost of film making budget was really high more than hundred crores, sometimes the

budget becomes more high than fixed budget.

It making some small producers to leave the cinema and their passion. This is the

important problem that I going to solve by creating this application. The scheduling process in

film making is important in film pre-production and production. If any technician or artist not

came to the spot on time, everything is waste on that day, the wages of the small technicians,

food and other junior artists should want to be paid, and if any artificial sets or big house was

rented that’s also waste this is the main reason on the money loss like a water, and it leads high

budget. My application should be in production control and it has all the details of every

technicians with their salary details with GST, and it will alerts them by mail before the day of

shoot.

Modules Descriptions:

 Schedule:

Scenes are scheduled using an intuitive drag and drop calendar –automatically generating

cast shooting calls, set calls, transportation requirements and calls for any special equipment

required for a scene

 Scenes:

Scenes, Cast and Sets may be automatically imported from Final Draft Scene reports

are generated manually. Cast, extras, stand-ins, special equipment can all be assigned to a Scene.
  Technicians:

Using this technician module admin can manage the details of technician such as technician

id, name, address, phone, experience details, technician type, and their salary with GST.

 Artists:

Using this artist module admin can manage the details of technician such as artist id, address,

phone, experience details, artist type, current booking films, their salary with GST.

 Production Budget Fixed:

During production there will be numerous “operational” budgets to cover petty cash spend on

cabs and other incidental spend. This is all tracked and can be simply visible to the

accountant. It includes budget amount with GST.

 Call Sheets and Daily Reports:

Call Sheets are generated automatically based on the Scenes scheduled. Rescheduling a Scene

automatically updates the Call Sheet and all Cast and Set calls. Daily reports are simply

generated by updating what was actually shot, what was not, what stock was used etc.

Incomplete Scenes are generated as Part Scenes and shown as being Carried so they are not

forgotten about. Timings and progress to date are calculated automatically so avoiding any

mistakes brought about by long working hours.

 Quick Alert:

Using this quick alert admin can send notification to all technicians when the schedule

changes, using mail.
