“THIRTEEN DAYS”

 The story start when an American aircraft fly above Cuba and found USSR building
some nuclear missiles and it take photographs of it. Later on, the photographs arrive at America
and soon it become America’s highes concern. That happens because the existence of those
nuclear missiles threatened America, since it only need five mintes from it launch to arrive at
America. According to this situation, President John F. Kennedy create a Special Executive
Committee consist of senior officials. This Special Executive Committee is created to make and
give solution to this problem.

In the other hand, Pentagon demanding the president to invade Cuba, but president, along
with his brother Boby Kennedy and his Political Advisor Kenny O’Donniel want to take those
nuclear missiles out from Cuba. At that time, the Special Executive Committee suggest president
to blockade Cuba and quarantine all ships that depart to Cuba and president accept it. Then
America bring this problem to UN Security Council in order to demand an answer from USSR
about the existence of these nuclear missiles. The USSR deny the accuse from America and
America bring all the photographs as the evidence and America demand USSR to take out those
missiles, and dismantled under supervision of UN. But the USSR still stand strong and will
accept the demand only when America take their nuclear missiles out from Turkey.

Negotiations by negotiations was already did but those didn’t give any solutions
according to this matter. Both country stand strong with their own demand and well prepared for
war at any time. The tense in president John F. kennedy, special executive committee with senior
officals and Pentagon grow stronger since offer different solution. President with Special
Executive Committee want to end this conflict in diplomatical way while senior officials and
Pentagon want to invade Cuba. But in the end, they unite to follow the diplomatical way to end
this conflict and do diplomacy with USSR Prime Minister Nikita Khruschev. Later on, Boby
kennedy accompanied by Kenny O’Donniel go to USSR embassy in America to do further
diplomacy, offering that America will take their nuclear missiles from Turkey since it already
worn and USSR will do the same. Finally USSR accept it, and the thirteen days call as Cuba
Missiles Crisis meet it’s end.
