Project Proposal: Look Good, Feel Great

Rationale

This project was proposed in order to introduce long-term health benefits for the
people in accordance to what works best for their lifestyle. Our main target is to help our client
to become physically fit through a step-by-step process with our guidance. This activity may
give them opportunities to achieve and maintain the healthy mind and fit body they want.

Objectives
 Empower themselves by setting and working towards realistic goals
 Appreciate the physical and mental benefits of increased activity
 Create safe, progressive and efficient activity based plan to enhance improvement
and minimize injury

Scope and Environment


This project will focus on the effectiveness of the fitness program to the client. The goal
is to orient the client and provide guidance in their journey to become physically fit. After the
orientation, the client will be able to perform the tests in order for the instructor to provide the
exercises according to the result of the tests they have undergone.

Monitoring and Evaluation

20% - Recognize the physical and mental benefits of increased activity. Know your client’s strengths and
weaknesses and the things that are needed to work on. The clients must undergo another physical
assessment to determine if the client has improved.

15% - Determine factors involved with development fitness level and training strategies:

1. For cardio – do jumping jacks


2. For stamina – do knee touches
3. For strength – do push ups or sit ups
4. For flexibility – reach in the air and touch your toes

20% - Empower themselves by setting and working toward realistic individual goals. The instructor will
motivate the client so that they will be encouraged to do their exercise religiously without the presence
of his or her instructor. Use constructive criticism, feedbacks, and use positive methods to motivate.

30% - Create a safe, progressive and efficient activity-based plan to enhance improvement and minimize
injuries and accidents.

At the end of the project, clients will be evaluated through another physical assessment to determine if
there are any progress in the physical and mental health of the client. The clients are expected to bring
this experience because fitness is a continuous process.
