REFLECTION (4TH QUARTER)

Culture affects how people behave and interact with each

other, it helps you build relationships with others when you
understand other cultures and perspectives. It’s also good to
understand how much in common we have with other people even if
at first glance their cultures might seem completely different. We
are all humans and have similar needs, hopes, fears, and things that
make us happy. It doesn’t mean, that our cultural differences don’t
matter at all. A better strategy is to acknowledge that differences
exist and to fight against discrimination. The world is becoming
more and more diverse with different languages, religions, economic
and cultural groups. We need to appreciate and understand those
cultures and establish relationships with people from other
backgrounds. This is the only way to build successful communities,
improve our living conditions, and solve problems.
In order to bridge gaps there must be respect. For being a
fellow human, you owe everyone a basic level of respect.
Respecting “others” who form a long list of people like your parents,
teachers, friends, fellow workers, police, strangers, authority figures,
etc. is essential. Respect, can be traced back to prehistoric times,
where people in high authority were respected. Respect brought
order to the society. To avoid discrimination we must remove the
stigma that is visible to each individual inhabiting earth, in fact we
should appreciate our diversity and recognize what’s yours.
Listening to a person’s point of view is one of the best ways of
showing respect. Apparently, from time to time, you might not
always agree with one another on every topic but allowing each to
have and express views is a sign of respect. How you respect people
varies typically depending on how you view each person and how
they respect themselves. There is nothing bad about showing some
people more respect than others.
We are now living in the era of technology and that’s why we
are bounded by technology. In the 21st century, technology has
made our lives way easier, we can now save a lot of our time using
technology. Research was always a very important part for almost
everything, even when there was no technology at all research used
to be done but of course that used to be a time consuming process.
One fundamental activity has enabled humankind to move forward
and prosper is research is important when conducted correctly
because it helps us to understand and possibly even solve existing
or possible problems, research provided knowledge that still
contributes to our modern world that is why it is important for the
youth to be oriented in making research’s so that they would be
more familiar to this systematic investigation designed to gather
useful information.
