In the last weeks it has been made clear that agencies which heretofore could hardly be bothered to pay attention to the work we do at CaroorSource are now intent on managing all outcomes. itis clear to me thal the consortium intends to contiol and no fair Selection process will be allowed to proceed. | tender my resignation with some regret as | believe that the rush to lovato someone to an executive position managing a public budget of $12-13 Millon dollars without 2 business, finance or public administration background is il-advised. Allegations or implications that | am Nazi are almost beneath responding to, but | will endeavor 10 do so. Fascism is dafinog as: "a form of far-nghi, authontarian ultranationalism charactorized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy...” The bebavor | responded to, Mr. Kerner. was just such behavior — extracrdinary untoward surveillance and intirridation. | said what | said to provoke a response ~ I'got one! What, exactly, Mr. Kerner, are you offended by? The fact that | linked the Consortium’s behavior to authoritarianism or just that | said it? Identifying behavior as fascist does not make the identifier fascist. | note that no one from your staff contacted me to discuss what | moant. | alse noted with amazement in Mr. Bakor’s email to me that Mr. George Elmore is similarly accused of inappropriate comments. If you are concerned about Fascism, please note that the outcome of governments using intimidation and surveilance to define circles of \wished-for and unwished-for people is what lead to the Holocaust and 13 milion died. As for my attitudes, | wil leavo it to these who know mo best to support or condemn mo. Lam proud, as | am sure all the members of the Executive Committee are, of the numerous ‘accomplishments of CSPBC and its track record of managing to serve moro clionts with over- diminishing resources during Mr. Craig's tenure who manages, nevertheless to make CSPBC a recognized thought leader and best practice exemple in workforce services not only in Florida but around the country. | resign immediately.
