Presentation of the unit – Two workmates Friend 1: I am so tired! I definitely need to

talking while working take a vacation!
Friend 2: Me either! Last year I travelled to
Asia, a beautiful place!
Friend 1: Really? Is there any place in
particular in Asia that you would
recommend it?
Friend 2: Of course! I would definitely
recommend Thailand! Its capital, Bangkok
is amazing, full of sightseeing, landmarks,
monuments, museums, and cultural
heritage centres.
Friend 1: What about the food?
Friend 2: The food is delicious! I was afraid
about the food there but the truth is, I ate
so much while I was in Thailand! I went to
several restaurants in the city and they
have a huge variety of dishes, so there are
options for everybody!
Friend 1: Did you visit those famous
islands?
Friend 2: Yes, I did! I went to an island
called Phi Phi Leh island, off the coast
of Thailand in the Andaman Sea. A beautiful
place, with white-sands, clean water and
cosy hutches. A paradise because we don’t
have beautiful beaches here like those in
Thailand, and it is a calm place, perfect for
my family! How about you? Where did you
go on your last vacation?
Friend 1: I went to Europe! I have spent
one week travelling through France and
Germany!
Friend 2: Really? Tell me about it!
Friend 1: It was fascinating! I visited the
medieval castles, went to museums, ate at
the most delicious restaurants and drove
through wonderful places!
Friend 2: Did you visit Paris?
Friend 1: Of course! The most beautiful city
on earth! Those charming streets full of
shops, the lovely churches and the
delightful gastronomy really impressed me!
Friend 2: That’s nice! Perhaps I visit Paris in
my next vacation!
