OBJECTIVE:
 Develop punctuality and improve attendance system

 Biometrics System shall be implemented in all


elementary and secondary schools in the
division beginning school year 2013-2014.

 All teaching and non-teaching personnel


being funded by the national, SEF (LSB, PSB)
and school MOOE are mandated to enroll.

 Newly hired and transferred teaching and non-


teaching personnel shall enroll immediately to
the School Biometrics Coordinator.

 The personnel must log in and out in the morning


following the same procedure in the afternoon (4
logs per day).

 Failure to comply with the required number of log-in


and out will be considered absent.

 A separate log book with prepared list of teaching


and non-teaching personnel must be provided by
the school and needed to be filled up the same time
reflected on the biometrics for validation purposes.

 Special provisions will be applied to the school heads


and teachers who are attending official business
(meetings/seminars) who failed to log in and out on
biometrics provided they will submit to the Division
Office the travel order before the date of the official
business and certificate of appearance a week after

 Alternative Learning System (ALS) Mobile Teachers


and District ALS Coordinator must log in to the nearest
school and must submit their itinerary to the division
office (cc: District Office)a week before the end of
the month if they failed to log in and log out.

 Each Elementary District and Secondary School can


use one of their existing computers in downloading
the entries in the biometrics per month.

 A separate flash drive (maximum of 4 gigabytes) must


be provided by each school through MOOE Fund
intended for the biometrics system ONLY.

 Each elementary and secondary school shall designate a
School Biometrics Coordinator (SBC) preferably school
clerk or school head who is tasked to:
 download the files (with the use of USB)from the Biometrics
machine after the last official time of the last working day
of the month
 For SECONDARY - immediately submit the downloaded
biometrics file (thru email or actual delivery) to the Division
Office (bataanbiometrics@gmail.com)

 For ELEMENTARY:
 The SBC shall immediately submit the downloaded
biometrics file (thru email or actual delivery) to the
designated District Biometrics Coordinator (DBC)
 The DBC preferably the Liaison Officer or District Clerk
shall email the downloaded files to the Division Office
(bataanbiometrics@gmail.com) on the first day of the
following month.

 The District (Elementary) or School (Secondary) Biometrics
Coordinators shall send the user backup file to the Division
Office together with the all logs backup every last working
day of the month.

 In return, the Division office will send the soft copy of the Daily
Time Record (DTR) in PDF format to the District Offices and
secondary schools at the first day of the following month.

 The emailed DTR from the Division Office will be
printed in 3 copies by secondary schools and
elementary schools concerned.

 After printing, the SBC shall reconcile or tally the


entries in the DTR with the School Attendance
Logbook.

 If there is NO discrepancy, employees must sign the
DTR and submit it to the Division Office on or before
the second day of the month.

 If there is a discrepancy, employees concerned must


settle it with the SBC/DBC before signing the DTR and
submit it to the Division Office on or before the
second day of the month.
