In line with the need and interest of the students who are currently enrolled in Filipino
421 (Pagpapahalagang Pampanitikan) to watch the play “Babuyan Island” at MSU-
IIT in Tibanga, Iligan City, which is very relevant to the objective of the lesson
“Pagpapahalagang Pampanitikan”, the undersigned is respectfully asking the
PERMISSION from your good office to allow the students and the teacher handling
the said subject to go to the said place for the stated purpose. Their travel will be on
November 29, 2018 at 12:00nn.

Instead of having an acting workshop, the teacher opted, as also agreed by the
students, to have play viewing due to budget and time constraint.

In giving value and importance of the Philippine Literature, viewing the said play is
positively believed to be of great help in enhancing the students’ skills, talents,
awareness and appreciation of the different means of art as applied in Literature.

May this intent merit your support and official approval to the pursuance of this

that the said class will be having its educational travel to MSU-IIT, Tibanga, Iligan
City on November 29, 2018, departure time will expectedly be at 12:00nn.

In line with this, the undersigned, is humbly asking your consideration and
permission to allow the students and excuse them from your classes while they are
still away from the campus for the said purpose.
