WEBSITE DESIGN CONTRACT

At Island Web Solutions, we pride ourselves in doing our best to meet the goals and fulfill
your design related needs, but it is necessary to ensure that a few simple things are outlined
on paper should any unforeseen questions or issues arise. In this contract you won’t find
complicated legal terms or large passages of confusing text. We wish to maintain clarity and
want you to know exactly what you are obtaining with Island Web Solutions.

AGREEMENT
Renew U.S.A. is contracting Island Web Solutions to design and customize a brand new
Wordpress website for the total price of $5,000.00. This design is built in house and never
outsourced. Renew U.S.A. acknowledges that this price is based on an assessment of the
information that they have provided to Island Web Solutions on the date of the contract and
has been decided based on only that information. Renew U.S.A. further acknowledges that
if Island Web Solutions determines additional work or if additional work is requested not
documented in the attached Statement of Work, the cost will be impacted. Renew U.S.A.
will however, have the opportunity to review and approve these changes prior to Island Web
Solutions moving forward. Renew U.S.A. will 100% own their website design and remain in
control of their domain name.

WHAT DO BOTH PARTIES AGREE TO DO?

Renew U.S.A. agrees to provide Island Web Solutions with the necessary components to
complete the project including the original logo file, updated text, updated images, link(s) to
social media, domain name credentials and any other information needed to successfully
complete the new website project. Island Web Solutions strives to avoid any delays. Island
Web Solutions believes that deadlines work both ways and will do their part in meeting them
to the best of their ability.

Island Web Solutions has the experience and ability to perform the requested services and
will carry out their work in a professional and timely manner. Island Web Solutions cannot be
held responsible for a missed website launch date or deadline if Renew U.S.A. has not
provided all of the content and/or revisions needed in a timely fashion.

TIMELINE
Island Web Solutions estimates a total project time of 2-4 weeks. Island Web Solutions will
begin the work after they have received a signed contract and a payment of $2,500.00 for
1/2 of the total project cost. Please also keep in mind that Island Web Solutions relies on

Renew U.S.A. and team to provide them with the necessary materials (including but not
limited to website text, photos, social media, affiliations, etc.), and approvals in order for us
to work diligently on the website, and to avoid impacting the new website launch date. Once
the payment is received, after about 10 days, Island Web Solutions will provide Renew
U.S.A. with a link to the first look of their new website. At this point in the process, Built
Renew U.S.A. and team will be able to look over the progress and get back to Island Web
Solutions with any comments and/or preferences. Island Web Solutions will always work
alongside their clients to create the vision that they see for their company.

GOING LIVE
Once the project is finalized and has been approved for launch, Island Web Solutions will
collect the balance of $2,500.00 and prepare the website files to be hosted. Island Web
Solutions recommends waiting a full 48 hours of the new website being live on the domain
name before announcing the launch. This gives the new website time to propagate and settle
and for everyone to run tests.

MONTHLY HOSTING & MAINTENANCE FEE AGREEMENT - OPTIONAL

Island Web Solutions provides hosting and maintenance services for their clients. This gives
the website owner peace of mind that they have a company to help them with the backend of
their website as well as any other web related questions. For example, simply send Island
Web Solutions over the content for any testimonials, new employee, etc and Island Web
Solutions is happy to get it up quickly for you. The new website will be hosted on a high
performance cloud server. Island Web Solutions uses the fastest and highest grade servers
and guarantee an uptime of 99.9%. SSL’s are also included in hosting fee as well as weekly
backups to the website.

If Renew U.S.A. decides to begin a hosting/maintenance relationship with Island Web

Solutions after the website is launched, Renew U.S.A. agrees to pay Island Web Solutions
a total of $100.00 each month in exchange for the above service after 30 days of the
website being live on the domain name. All monthly payment agreements are made
electronically via credit card. Island Web Solutions offers a one month discount when the
year is paid in full. This price is based on one to two minor updates per month. If the work
load increases, the monthly price will increase fairly and accordingly. If Renew U.S.A. uses
Island Web Solutions to also post monthly blog posts and to send out monthly news to email
subscribers, this monthly cost will increase accordingly. There are many benefits to acquiring
a maintenance and hosting plan with Island Web Solutions. This includes building up the
website content over time in an affordable way.

Hosting & Maintenance plans are optional. If Renew U.S.A. chooses to host
elsewhere, Island Web Solutions cannot be held responsible for the website hosting and files.
Island Web Solutions will offer a two month discount if the hosting and maintenance is paid in

full for the year. If Renew U.S.A. wishes to only maintain the website with Island Web
Solutions, the fee with be $50.00

STATEMENT OF WORK: PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS

Island Web Solutions will design the layout of the new website on the latest Wordpress
technology possible. Island Web Solutions will focus on making the new website for Renew
U.S.A. as user friendly as possible. The website will be responsive to all screen sizes,
including mobile. The goal for the new website is to catch the attention of an interested party
quickly as well as be as easy and functional to use for the end user as possible. The ultimate
goal of the new website is for people to quickly be impressed by the work via photographs,
video and content and to make contacting Renew U.S.A. fast and easy. Island Web
Solutions recommends the best photos and videos possible to help convert the potential
guest. High quality custom photos will make a big difference in the look and feel of the
website. Island Web Solutions has access to stock photos, however, we recommend custom
photos to enhance the custom look of the website. The new website will be built on the latest
Wordpress technology available and will feature all of the latest capabilities that are
available within this platform. All social media accounts, accreditations and other affiliations
will be connected to the website. A live instagram feed can be embedded to make updating
simple.

This contract does not include a future marketing plan. It does however, lay the groundwork
for a successful future marketing plan complete with on page optimization. Island Web
Solutions will incorporate the keywords requested by Renew U.S.A. to allow Google to
spider the website and yield successful results. Island Web Solutions will also walk Renew
U.S.A. through the process of claiming a Google Plus Business page and optimizing it to
increase the chances of a person finding the website when searching for keyword terms
organically. Island Web Solutions believes that the first step to a successful marketing plan is
a neat and organized stunning website. Once the website is submitted to Google, Island Web
Solutions will monitor the organic search results. Many times, a less aggressive marketing
plan can be effective.
