ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES in Hydro-Mechanical Works

 As Per Drawings procures the required material for Fabrication.

 Preparation of Cutting Schedule in a minimum wastage manner.
 Carried out fabrication and Erection of Vertical Gates, Trash Racks, Hoist Crane, Gantry
Crane Mechanism and Embedment Parts like Sill beam, Top Seal, Side Guides, Roller
Tracks, Side Seal seats.
 Carried out Embedment parts in two stages, Inspection of Blackouts, inspection of
Embedment Parts erection every 500mm from Bottom seal to double of Gate height.
 Preparation of Protocol for Embedment Parts erection after concreting.
 Preparations of test protocols and follow up of third party quality controls.
 Reviewing of applicable documents like Drawings, Quality Assurance Plans,
Measurement Plans and its Documentation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES in Electromechanical Works

 As per drawing Place all The Embedment Plates in each stage of concrete which are
required for erection of main Embedment Parts of Turbine(DT, DT Elbow, Spiral Casing,
Pit liner and Motor Foundation etc..)
 Carried out the erection of Embedment Parts Draft tube liners & Elbows, Spiral casing
and Pit liner based on centerlines and elevation coordinates. Assembly of Spiral casing,
welding, then leveling and centering of Spiral Casing, and then concreting to the Spiral
casing in a particular Method, Then Pit Liner erection with required MS Pipe sleeves.
 Carried out UT for All site-welding joints in DT and Spiral Casing. Before concreting to
Spiral Casing, we have done Hydro Test Also.
 Carried out Erection, testing & commissioning of Reversible vertical Francis turbine
Pumps (ANDRITZ made, Austria) and its auxiliaries.
3x4MW - 380-Cusec discharge/pump
3x12MW - 750-Cusec discharge/pump
5x30MW - 800-Cusec discharge/pump
 Involved in every stage of Pump erection i.e. in erection Lower Guide Vane Ring,
Impeller, Guide Vanes, Top Guide Vane Ring, Pump Shaft Coupling to Impeller, Pump
Cover, Shaft seal, Lower Guide Bearing, Break, Thrust cum Guide Bearing.
 Carried out Erection of 3 x 4MW, 3x12MW & 5x30MW Synchronous Motors (ABB made,
Finland) and its auxiliaries.
 Involved in every stage of Motor erection i.e. in Motor Foundation Plate erection, Stator
erection, Rotor erection, Air coolers erection, Slip Ring Unit Assembly, Motor Bearing.
 Carried out the Erection and testing of various centrifugal pumps, vertical turbine pumps
for Cooling water system & Dewatering system and its Maintenance. Having 22KW, 55KW
and 110KW capacity Motors.
 Possess experience in electrically controlled hydraulic operations. (BFV & OPU panels).
 Involved in Pump Operation and Maintenance of the Project in the Pumping season and
maintenance works in Non Pumping Season.
 Responsible for material handling & man power planning.
 Carried out the Erection & testing of Fire fighting system, Emulsification system to the
15/20 MVA Transformers, fire alarm system and total system in to the Plant.
 Possess interpersonal skills to co-ordinate with other section heads in smooth operation
of system.
 Explaining the work details to foremen and Technicians to do the work
 Detailing of safety issues to field people
