Introduction: Corporate law regulates how corporations, investors, shareholders,


directors, employees, creditors, and other stakeholders such as consumers, the
community, and the environment interact with one another.
Corporate law is the body of law governing the rights, relations, and conduct of
persons, companies, organizations and businesses. It refers to the legal practice
relating to, or the theory of corporations. Corporate law often describes the law
relating to matters which derive directly from the life-cycle of a corporation.

Learning Objectives: To build awareness and basic knowledge of how businesses


functions according to the regulatory requirements and to provide knowledge of laws, rules,
and regulations for functioning of businesses in the corporate sector.
Learning Outcomes( LO ):
1. The subject will provide Basic knowledge of The Company Law, 2013 and the other corporate
laws.
2. This subject will help the students understand the regulatory and compliance issues arising in
managing and running the company.
3. This subject also provides and connects the different legal and corporate regulatory functions
related to businesses.
4. The students will learn the corporate functioning and the various aspects of fund raising and
management in legal sense.

Objective of the project:

To understand legal perspective in the cases and learn various corporate laws.
I will share the topics assigned in separate email to ADC.

Methodology to be adopted by the students:

The Project is a group effort, various topics relating to the laws in the syllabus will be
assigned to the group.

Outcome of the project:

Learning, reading the cases from the legal perspective, confidence while doing the
presentations, team work.

Method of evaluation:
