ISO/TS 16949 as our Quality Management System.

The ISO/TS 16949 is the international standard for

quality management system for the automobile and
truck industry sector, with very stringent requirements
to satisfy global procurement standards for automotive
parts in the auto industry based on ISO 9001. The
requirements focus on prevention of failure, reduction
of wastes and variation in quality. In addition, it is
aimed at verifying a system for enabling continued
improvements to provide products and services from a
customer-oriented perspective.

Scope 1.1 General

This Technical Specification (TS), in conjunction with ISO
9001:2000, defines the quality management system
requirements for the design and development,
production and, when relevant, installation and service
of automotive-related products.

This Technical Specification (TS) is applicable to sites of

the organization where production and/or service parts
specified by the customer are manufactured.

"Automotive" shall be understood as including the

following:- Cars, Trucks (Light, Medium and Heavy),
Buses, Motorcycles.

"Site" is a Location at which value added manufacturing

processes occur.

“Manufacturing” is process of making or fabricating:

Production materials, Production or service parts,
Assemblies, or Heat treating, welding, painting, plating,
or other finishing services.

inter-inspection, random-inspection and designated-
inspection

Complete and Appropriate Quality Inspection System

Strict routine inspection process for each unit of vehicle;

Key items for regular inspection are welding, painting and
assembly.

Biannual inspections on suppliers are conducted. The

tooling of the suppliers has to pass the inspection
procedure before production.
