CHANGING EMAIL SETTINGS ON PIAZZA

The default setting for Piazza is to email you once there is a followup to something that you’ve written or a new post is
made. If you would prefer to not receive these emails, you can change these settings. Below are some instructions on
how you can do that.

1. Log onto Blackboard and click on the Piazza link. In the top right hand corner of the Piazza banner, click
the arrow. Then click Account/Email Settings.

2. Scroll down until you see Class & Email Settings. Click on Edit Email Notifications.
Below is an explanation of the different settings. Choose the one that you are most happy with and then click Save
Settings. To return to the discussions, click the Q & A tab on the Piazza banner.

This refers to settings for new posts

Here, if you want an automatic (email) notification then


select Real-Time but if you don’t want any emails then
select No Emails.
