Factory waste in Indonesia

The most factories in Indonesia still can’t process their waste properly. This can be seen
from environmental problems that occur around the factories. Improper process of liquid waste
causes the rivers to dispose of waste becomes polluted. River pollution causes the water cannot
be used by local residents because it is too risky for health. Liquid chemical waste is very
dangerous, for example it can cause the soil becomes infertile or polluted. Thick smoke that
came from process production in the factory makes the air dirty, this dirty air has a bad impact
for health, especially causes respiratory disorders. All pollution caused by factory waste appears
due to by several internal factors. First, in those factories there are no waste processing expert to
handle processing of waste before disposal to environment. That factor occur may be because the
factory wants to reduce inputs or costs to pay employees for increasing profits. A new factory
also sometimes have not waste processing expert because they thinks that the waste from
production process will not causes pollution. Lack of attention from factories for environmental
pollution caused by their waste is the second factor. Attention to environmental pollution is very
necessary to protect our earth. The third factor is lack of preparation in plant construction
planning. It is not only impacts the waste that pollutes the environment, but it will also impact
the age of the factory. Government response is also one of the factor why the most factories in
Indonesia still can’t process their waste properly. There’s no decisive action yet from
government to resolve this problem quickly. The government is slow response, it means that the
government will only act if the pollution is already very severe and even environmental pollution
is difficult to recover. In conclusion, waste factories in Indonesia will be the bad impact for
environmental if not process properly yet.
