Lab technicians are skilled workers that work with complex systems or perform highly technical mechanical or
diagnostic tests in medical or scientific laboratories.One of the most important members of a research
laboratory team are Laboratory Technicians. They are in charge of a variety of tasks and responsibilities such
as the organization and maintenance of lab tools and equipment, data recording, as well as ensuring efficiency
and accuracy when conducting scientific experiments and research.

Laboratory Technicians can take in a wide range of roles within the laboratory team depending on their area of
expertise. They may work in several branches of scientific research and development, such as Chemistry,
Physics, and Biology and may be employed by companies of various areas, including Forensics, Cosmetics,
Manufacturing, and Pharmacology. Depending on the field, Technicians may work independently or under the

6. Why is temperature the independent variable in this experiment?


Because it's used to change the substance into a different texture and flavor.

7. Why is the production of yogurt a dependent variable?


Because you are making it you are adding all the ingredients into one big thing.

8. What is the function of buttermilk in this experiment?


The function of buttermilk will be used as the thickness and adding more to it affects more thickness.

Results
9. Write a brief description of what happened in each plastic cup. Use the descriptions you
recorded in your data table.
When I left it at room tempurature it wasn't as thick as the one I left in the fridge it looked nasty.

Analysis
10. How does temperature affect the production of yogurt? What temperature gave the best
results: refrigerated or room temperature?
It affects it by not being cold the milk rots. The best results was the fridge one it was really thick.

11. Was your hypothesis supported, or was it unsupported? Explain your response.
I didn't really have one but I was already thinking that the cup in the fridge was gonna be thick and way better
then the cup stored at room tempurature.

12. Describe the possible mistakes that you could have made in your experiment (potential
experimental error). How would these mistakes have affected the results of your experiment?
If I didn't mix it well or If I missed a step in making it.

Conclusion
13. Based on your results, what would be the most cost-effective method of yogurt production
for your company? Explain your response.
It would have to be put in the fridge for awhile and make sure all the steps are done and if you are gonna make
more add more ingredients.
