1) What are three trends that you can see taking place in the world that will affect business?
These can be social trends, trends in technology, trends in education, trends in a particular
market (e.g., food), etc. For example, one trend is that the USA is becoming more multi-cultural.
Write 1-3 sentences for each trend.

Trend #1: One trend I could see taking place is businesses are becoming more ethical.
Employees want to work in a positive work environment, and it can improve the business’s
reputation.

Trend #2: Another trend I see happening is that reviews on businesses will become more critical.
People are trusting reviews more than ads itself so its important that business has like a yelp or
Google business.

Trend #3: The last trend I’ve been seeing taking place more is live streams and stories, which is
an excellent way of connecting with customers because you can see how people are responding
and able to ask questions.

2) What are your Strengths and Resources when it comes to starting and managing a business?
(list at least 3). Think about yourself and your personal situation. Think about what you know,
who you know, what you are good at, what you have to offer, and tell us:
My Strengths (Skills/Knowledge/Personality Attributes/Attitude/Work Ethic). Write 1-3

Strength #1: One of my strengths is that I always have a positive attitude because I believe that a
positive attitude is contagious when it comes to dealing with customers.

Strength #2: Another strength I have to offer is that I’m bilingual. Which gives me the ability to
help and connect culturally with employees and clients.
Strength #3: Another one of my strong strengths is that I am a very patient person, and because
of this, I am better at assisting in a respectful, attentive manner.

Resource #1: One qualification I have is that I have experience in managing the marketing at
Naked Digital. I helped create and plan content for multiple platforms such as Instagram, Twitter
Facebook and blogs.

Resource #2: I also graduated with an associate’s degree at Palm Beach State College.

Resource #3: I have several great connections because of my experience at Naked Digital.

3) Describe three (3) business or new business ideas that you think make sense for you to be
involved in. They should go with what the needs are in the marketplace, and also be a business
where you would be able to add value. Explain each one clearly and with enough detail to be
helpful.  NOTE: Write 3-5 sentences for each idea (please keep your descriptions to 3-5
sentences!)

Idea #1:
I feel that YouTuber’s have been on the rise recently, and I would like to start a business to help
the new upcoming YouTuber's create video content that stands out. I know a lot of people who
would like to start a channel but have no idea how even to start. I believe that with the
experience I have with Final Cut Pro and social media management, I can bring that to the table.

Idea #2:
I’d also like to make a difference by working with the clothing brand CHNG they sell ethically
produced clothing. I am someone who is continually trying to make a difference even if it’s
small, so working with a brand like this would bring tons of joy. There clothing also brings
awareness to gun control, the feminist movement, and a ton more, and I want to help market their
brand through social media and even Youtube.

Idea #3:
I would love to manage the social media for the online clothing store Princess Polly. I am
someone who loves to create content and loves fashion. I believe that by combining the two
things I love, that I would bring great value to it.
