CONTEXT

ABSTRACT:

In MODERN GENERATION we want some kind of modern and

easy method for completing a work and for saving times.

● Attendance Automation System, This Project will mainly

useful for every Teacher of a campus, every employers of
any office and any kind of Institutions to reduce his burden
by maintaining and carrying Register(s) with her or him in
his daily work.

In this project we will implement how to take attendance of

different classes by a particular teacher, it will authenticate the
data of student and employers by each and every class, he
presents. It also gives the aggregate percentage in his
academic year by this software. In this software we can also
add or Delete a student(s) whenever they will leave the college
or school and incase if they are detained. We will develop this
software by Using Database of every Entity in a class, like
Name, Roll no, Mobile no​.

INTRODUCTION:
● This Project will mainly useful for every Teacher in any kind of
Institutions to reduce his burden by maintaining and carrying
Register(s) with her or him in his daily work.

● Probably it may also give correct and appropriate Student’s

attendance. The purpose of this project is to develop “Quicker
and Faster “attendance with details Software that runs
Automatically and needs to check for maintenance.

● The goal of this project is to take attendance automatically

when it is scanning 3D Image of a student. In fact it gives fewer
burdens to teacher by Its Automated System.

Necessity And Discription:

Your manpower can functions well when they are not dumped
with a lot of workloads. With Child Automation System, manual
tasks, especially the day-to-day paperwork gets reduced to just
feeding in data. With less workload, the management will be
better-off with the output compared to their previous
performance.
Attendance taking and tracking is time consuming and tiring
task in school. In many school attendance marking still
performed manually, and there is a greater chance of error to
fill student attendance. The Automation System makes relief
from manually work of attendance fills. Attendance module is
user oriented and user-friendly for teachers.
The main benefit of attendance software is it reduces the use of
paper an maintain accuracy. Automatic attendance files with
the help of biometric attendance machine for student and as
well as employees. You can manage school staff and student
attendance easily with the help of ​Attendance Automation

instant alerts about student absences via SMS to his parents.

busy parents and worst of all sheer peer pressure, the best of
and the most disciplined of children are coerced/ influenced into
missing school, resulting in the parents believing their children
are at school, when actually their whereabouts are
unaccountable.
There is no worry for parents about his/her school going child.
These automated system takes care of childrens.
Child Automation System is for parents who worry about their
safety of their kids in transit where the students need to travel
long distances to go to school and there is always an anxiety if
the student has reached in time, or is he stuck in traffic at what

time he has reached, when did he leave the school or where

has he alighted etc.
The ​Attendance​ ​Automation​ ​system​ is the ​automated
attendance that has been established to record the time and
attendance or absence.

Attendance systems that track the child's attendance using a

this automation system that transmits the parents mobile an
SMS that the child has reached or left school.

Our solution also covers the transport department where they

have all reports and driver behavioral reports, Total distance
traveled reports, Bus-wise/student-wise reports which is
delivered automatically without resorting to manual attendance
or counting. This will improve the efficiency of the transport
department.
Also all the employers or students of any company or any
campus, entry or leaving time automatically captured by these
automation system.

Nowadays, all the guardians suffer a big problem for their

childrens which is so much difficult to control. Every year
50,000 childrens are reported missing. One in four children fall

victim to inappropriate touching. It will not happen if guardians

keep eye on their childrens. But that is not possible to keep eye
all the time.

So, That automation system can solve most of the problems

which is security related of childs.

For a company it’s also a important system because of its

automatic Attendance queries.
 Finally we can say that, this ​Attendance Automation System
can control all types of attendance related queries automatically
and that is a important thing which can reduce manual works
and free up times.

In the olden days, manual report generation was made use of

in educational institutions. Nowadays, the management can do
the whole thing on Attendance Automation System, which has
a built-in system for generating reports.

Existing System:

❖ A manual register is kept and monthly attendance is calculated

making process error prone.
❖ Report generation of presence / absence for a few days is very
tough
❖ In attendance register, there are more chances of error during
calculation on presence.
❖ Staff has to keep record of attendance in book which is time
consuming and less secure.
❖ Payroll has to be calculated according to the staff attendance
manually.

The attendance slips are collected and they are submitted to

the office clerk through peons. The office clerk maintains the
attendance of all the students of all the classes. He also has to
 keep the information about the leave of the students. After
making the attendance report manually, the office clerk has
tosend the attendance information about the students to their
respective class
counselor, who also maintains the information manually.

DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM:

● As the information regarding attendance is not stored on

computers,when any information is required, manual labor is
needed to search for it and find out the required information.
Not computerizing increasesthe work of keeping all the records
safely in a manner in which theycan be obtained when needed.

● Since all the processes in maintaining the attendance are

performed manually by the
officeclerk and the counselor, it increases theworkload on them
and makes work error-prone and tedious.

● Data security is another major problem.

● In the current system, accessand alteration of data by

unauthorized people is always possible. Thisis of great threat
because anyone and everyone can access personalinformation
of students.

● The present system does not provide a good interface with the

increase in the number of records stored the storage and
retrieval rate increases. Thus performance of system goes
down with increase in number of student’s record.

● In the current system the amount of paper work to be stored

safely andsystematically is large and so it results in go-downs
of paper work.

● Also it takes lot of time and is also costly as compare to

computerized system

● The technical requirement for the system is economic
and it does not use anyother additional Hardware and
software. Technical evaluation must also assess whether
the existing systems can be upgraded to use the new
technology and whether the organization has the expertise
to use it.Install all upgrades framework into the .Net
package supported widows based application.
● Operational Feasibility:
● The system working is quite easy to use and learn due to
its simple but attractiveinterface. User requires no special
training for operating the system. Technical performance
include issues such as determining whether the system
can provide the right information for the Department
personnel student details and security, and whether the
system can be organized so that it always delivers this
information at the right place and on time usingintranet
services. Acceptance revolves around the current system
and its personnel.
CONCLUSION:

The Attendance Management System is developed using

Visual Studio.NET fully meets the objectives of the system
which it has been developed. The system has reached a steady
state where all bugs have been eliminated. The system is
operated at a high level of efficiency and all the teachers and
user associated with the system understands its advantage.
The system solves the problem. It was intended to solve as
requirement specification.
