Research Objectives To find out how the influence of work-life
can affect employees’ job satisfaction and
how much work-life can influence the
employees’ job satisfaction at PT. Bio
Farma Persero
Research Subject Employees who work at PT. Bio Farma
Persero
Research Method The research was conducted using
descriptive and causal methods. The data
used in this study are primary data obtained
from interviews and questionnaires from 92
respondents and secondary data from the
company. The sampling method used is
simple random sampling.
Research Variables Dependent Variables:
1. Psychological Factor
2. Social Factor
3. Physical Factor
4. Financial Factor
Independent Variables:
1. Time Balance
2. Engagement Balance
3. Satisfaction Balance
Measuring Instrument This Research used the questionnaire as an
instrument to gain data from 92 respondents
that work at the company
Research Result Work-Life Balance is defined as the
capability of individuals to comply with
work responsibilities and also
their family commitments, along with non-
work responsibilities.
Measuring Work-Life Balance is divided
into 3 kinds which are:
1. Time Balance:
the amount of time allocated by the
employee on the job as well as their
personal life with their family.
2. Engagement Balance:
employees can be relish from time to
carry out physically and emotionally
in social activities.
3. Satisfaction Balance:
Self-satisfaction that emerges when
an employee has done at work is
satisfactory and can accommodate
both work and family necessity.
The Result of this research concludes that
Work-Life Balance at PT. Biro Farma
Persero is in a great category. Partially, the
balance of satisfaction significantly
influences employee satisfaction. While the
balance of time and the balance of
involvement doesn’t significantly influence
employee satisfaction.

Strengths 1. This research journal explained all


analysis methods that in detail tells
the reader about the result of the
research.
2. The application of this journal is
possible to be applied in Indonesia.
3. This research journal provides
knowledge on how to determine the
effect of work-life balance on
employee job satisfaction.
4. It contains terms that are
understandable by readers.
Weakness 1. The method used by researchers is a
method that requires a lot of
expertise
2. This Research is indispensable in
developing a deep understanding of
a given thematic complex and sound
rationale for further decision
making.
3. There is no available attachment
about the questionnaire used in
collecting data and only a few
answers can be read in this research.

Research Objectives To find out and explain the influence of
work stress variable which arise within the
organization (Internal) and outside the
organization (External) towards the
performance of employees of PT. Bank
Mega Tbk. Kendari Branch and to find out
which work stress variable is more
dominant in influencing the performance of
the employees.
Research Subject Employees’ at Pt. Bank Mega Tbk. Kendari
Branch
Research Method The research was conducted using
explanatory method. The data used in this
research is obtained by from surveys and
questionnaires taking samples from the
employee population at PT. Bank Mega
Tbk. Kendari Branch. The analysis used is
Regression Analysis

Independent Variables:
1. Internal Factors
a) Clearly defined organization
structure
b) Transparent policy
c) Leadership
2. External Factors
a) Disharmonious family condition
b) Poor society relation
c) Defective financial condition

Measuring Instrument The research used surveys and


questionnaires from 58 employees’ as
primary data.
Research Result Based on the analysis in this research
paper, it can conclude that:
1. the lower the stress coming from
within the organization will improve
the performance of employees of PT.
Mega Bank Tbk. Kendari Branch.
2. the lower the stress which come
from outside of the organization will
improve the performance of
employees of PT. Mega Bank Tbk.
Kendari Branch
3. Internal work stress affects more
towards employees’ performance
compared to external work stress
Strengths 1. This research journal explained all
analysis methods that in detail tells
the reader about the result of the
research.
2. The application of this journal is
possible to be applied in Indonesia
3. This research paper has a lot of
expert theories explaining
background definition of the
keyword.
4. The regression analysis implements
understandable result for general
people reading.
Weakness 1. The respondent is relatively limited
resulting only a small amount of
data analyzed.
2. There is only limited explanation
regarding why internal work stress
affect more than external work stress
