This is a short Christmas program for seven children on the topic of the
a    and  of Christmas. Kids may wear colorful Christmas
sweaters if they have them. Props are held and signs may be placed on a
string to go over their heads so they do not have to hold them. The parts
may be printed out and taped on the back of the cardstock in case they
forget their lines.




c : Welcome this morning to this Christmas Day program! (Holds a

³WELCOME´ sign)

c : Christmas is a special time to bring JOY to all (Holds sign ³JOY´)
The angels brought a joyful message to the shepherds in the fields.

Joy to the Word (First verse)

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!

Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

c : Christmas is a time when we show LOVE and appreciation to

others. (Holds a sign with words ³LOVE´)

c : The wise men brought gifts to the Christ Child and worshipped
Him. (Holds wrapped gift)

c : Christmas is more than lights, gifts, and mistletoe (Holds an

c : We celebrate this day because Christ came to bring us peace.
