leadership program. If you are a junior, senior or older join us in the
Teen Lounge on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm. Pizza is

There will be a Confirmation Parent Meeting on Sunday January
9th at 3:30pm in the Parish Hall. Students that will be receiving
the Sacrament this year must be in 10th grade or older, and ac-
tively attending Lifeteen or in Catholic School.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated by Bishop
Zarama on Friday, April 29th at 7pm at St. Andrew Church.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
AND STORYTELLING
All are invited to attend our Christmas Pageant and
Storytelling Special on December 17th at 7:00pm in
the Family Center. Our program will feature two
beautiful Christmas Tales as told by Storytellers for
Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State University. The
program is appropriate for all ages. Concession
treats will be sold by our World Youth Day (WYD)
travelers. No charge for admission.

NOVENA TO THE INFANT OF PRAGUE
Tuesday, December 16th will begin the monthly Perpet-
ual Novena to the Infant of Prague which will be prayed
daily from the 16th to the 25th of the month before the 9:00am

Meeting called to order:
The meeting was called to order by Vice-President Margaret
Ward at 6:45PM. Roll call was conducted. Quorum was es-
tablished and we opened with a prayer.
Opening Remarks/Approval of Minutes
Motion by Phil Cote to approve minutes, seconded by Liz
Schantz, voted and approved.
Pastor Update:
Msgr. Marren commented on events this fall sponsored by the
Parish Council. The picnic was very successful and sugges-
tions were made for next year.
Casino night was also very successful and will be held again next
year.
The parish is looking forward to Gary Schantz being ordained as
a Deacon on February 5th. He will be a great addition to the
parish.
First Sunday in Advent is November 28th and we will once again
do Kris Kringle. Names of all parish families will be handed
out at all the Masses. Everyone is encouraged to take a
name and pray for that family during Advent and then send
them a Christmas card telling them who you are and that you
prayed for them.
The Stations of the Cross have been repaired and are back.
Old Business:
Council Elections – There are three openings on the Parish
Council for next year. Anyone interested in running for
election needs to get a brief resume in to the office
immediately as balloting will be end of November.
Parish directory- Pictures are being taken. Olan Mills is
doing the photography and have a wonderful photogra-
pher. Anyone who is not signed up to have their pic-
ture taken can still call them to make an appointment.

drews.
New Business:
Catholics Coming Home – This is an Archdiocese sponsored
program which begins the first Sunday in Advent. There
will be radio and TV and ad promotions. Utube.com/
catholicscominghome is a very good site and it is also
on the St. Andrew’s web site. People of interest can be
directed to these sites.
Parish Christmas Party – The annual Christmas Party will be
held on December 4th in the Parish Hall. There will be a
DJ. All adults are encouraged to sign up in the narthex
so we know how many are coming to provide enough
food for everyone. Women’s Guild will be decorating the
hall November 30th for this event.
Breakfast with Santa – This is being held December 11th in
the Parish Hall.
Gary Schantz Deacon Ordination – Gary Schantz will be
ordained on February 5, 2011 at the Cathedral in the
morning. He will preach at all Masses that weekend. A
reception sponsored by the Women’s Guild be held that
evening in the Parish Hall and the Knights will sponsor
breakfast on that Sunday to welcome Gary.
Spanish Representative - There is a need for a Spanish
representative to be on the board at large.
