C O N D U C TO R C O D E WO R D S

In Australia and most English speaking countries overhead aluminium conductors are allocated codewords. In each counrty,
the codewords are normally in generic families, which will denote both the type of conductor and the country of origin. With
the exception of Scandinavia, European constructions are more commonly denoted by numerals indicating the nominal
conductor cross sections. In some cases, a conductor family will be allocated one or two names which cover the whole
size range.
