From Our Mayor... Panic Buying Hits Home

(COVID-19) con-
tinues to evolve, The
Town of Minnedosa is
monitoring the situa-
tion closely. The health
and safety of our staff
and citizens is our top
priority. I encourage ev-
eryone to not panic and
remain calm. Stay home
as much as possible,
follow Public Health
guidelines – wash your hands frequently with soap
and water, disinfect surfaces such as door handles,
counters, etc., if you are not feeling well stay home, if
you have travelled outside of Canada self isolate for
14 days. Self isolation and monitoring means stay
home for 14 days, ask family, friends or neighbours
to deliver items you require to your door. Please fol-
low the guidelines as outlined on the Public Health
factsheet found at www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/index.
html or www.prairiemountainhealth.ca
Citizens requiring the services of businesses in
the community, call prior to attending the business
to see what guidelines they are practicing.
Individuals requiring Employment Insurance
(EI) assistance: Yellowhead Regional Employment
Centre is open and practicing social distancing.

To our seniors, the Services to Seniors office will
be closed March 23rd until further notice, but all
programs are available so please call 204-867-5190
and leave a message. Programs are now extended
to all community members of all ages if needed. The
