GE is fully committed to the safety of our people, contractor and partner personnel as well as customer representatives
on site. GE has a long established safety program that consists of training, reporting and executing a safe installation.
While on site, GE is fully complying with site – specific safety requirements as specific safety training and/ or procedures
that GE team needs to comply with during the installation. GE is willing to take the necessary measures to meet these
requirements.
The GE Installation & Field Service Regional EHS Manager periodically visits the site during the course of the installation.
The observations and audits of our EHS Manager are shared with the site safety team. All GE related action items are
addressed in timely manner. Site safety team is notified and updated on the completion of any GE related safety action
item. It is requested that site safety team reciprocates on any customer, partner and/ or contractor safety issue that
may arise.
All EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) rules and recommendations, recorded in the EHS Construction Plan must be ap-
plied, especially wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). No job can be started if people or equipment
safety is compromised. This a GE Global Policy requirement and nothing can lead to ignore these safety rules.
For more detailed information, refer to GEK111309 GE Product Safety Recommended Best Practices general guidelines
related to safe site work practices.
Main risks highlight. The following generic risks may occur when conducting the work, and must be prevented:
● Mechanical hazard: all needed precautions must be taken to prevent contact with rotating parts (shaft-line, motor,
pumps, etc).
● Electrical hazard: all needed precautions must be taken to prevent contact with electrical parts under voltage. Be
conscious that on generator, residual voltage may be present even if the unit is at standstill and not excited.
● Noise hazard: all needed precautions must be taken to prevent injuries due to high level of noise. Use temporary
signalization to prevent access to hazardous areas and enforce PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) wearing such as
ear-defenders in the hazardous areas.
● Dropped objects: all needed precautions must be taken to prevent accidental dropped objects that may occur during
construction or commissioning situation such as lifting operations, hand tools/temporary equipment used at height.

Note
The 7HA shipping envelope allows for two fuel gas manifolds to ship installed on the gas turbine with the
outer two manifolds installed at site.
For the 7F.03, all four fuel manifolds are shipped installed on the gas turbine. Due to shipping limitations,
only the inner two most manifolds are shipped installed on the 7HA.02. Therefore, the gas fuel manifold
piping (MLI 0962) installation scope has increased for the 7HA. Note that for 7HA, the MLI 969G gas fuel
interconnect piping has been combined with the MLI 0962 gas fuel manifold piping.
