Writing 2: Visit to an Old Folks’ Home---INTERMEDIATE

Last weekend, Jason and all the scouts

gathered at the school hall. They listened to
a briefing by their Scoutmaster. They were
going to visit the Caring Old Folks’ Home.
They looked forward to the visit with great
enthusiasm.

Once they reached, they worked in groups

to carry out various tasks. Some of them
cleaned up the compound while some weeded the
garden. The others painted the walls. Jason
and a few others sang some melodious songs to
entertain the residents of the old folks’
home.

Before they left, they helped their

Scoutmaster deliver some goodies to the

experience for each one of them. Although they

able to contribute. Jason felt happy and
contented as he was able to help the old
