 Game will be played on PS4


 1 vs 1 only
 Match time will be set by organizing team.
 Winner of a round will qualify for the next round
 In case of tie, players will decide to take extra time/penalties/golden goal.
 Foul language will not be tolerated and the team will be given a warning if such instance
occurs. After 2 warnings the team would be disqualified.

2. TEKKEN-7

 TTT will be played on PC (keyboard/Controller/Joypad)


 3 games (3 rounds each) will be played, 60 sec each

 Player winning 2/3 games will be selected as a winner

3. PUBG-MOBILE

 Private Room will be created in which match will be played


 Only Squad Matches will be allowed

4. CALL OF DUTY 4 (COD-4)

 Search and destroy match


 Pro-mode PML220 will be used
 Match mod mr12 will be used in pro-mode having max of 12 rounds.
 Team side decision as well as in case of a tie mr3 round will decide Winner.
 Foul language will not be tolerated and the team will be warned and after 2 warnings
would be disqualified.
 Bring your own headphones.
 Any attachments are not allowed.
 Binds, hacks or any kind of cheat is prohibited.

5. SPEED PROGRAMMING
This event is for confident programmers who have enhanced problem solving skills and can work well
under pressure and in a given time constraint.

 This event will comprise of one round, that will last for 3 hours.
 A winner and runner up will be decided from the participating teams.
 Languages allowed: C++, C#, Java
 IDE: Visual Studio for C++, C# and Eclipse for Java

Any change in rules can be done but all the teams will be informed about it prior to event.

6. PAPER TOWER CHALLENGE

 Participants are required to build a tower like structure using A4 papers without the use
of any binding material.
 The tower must be free-standing i.e. without any external support and muster main so,
during judgment.
 Each team is allowed 2participants.
 Weight will be placed on top of the tower.
 The tower height just be more than or at least equal to 1m, otherwise marks will be
deducted.
 Use of material other than what is already provided is prohibited.
 40 A4 pages will be provided.
 Use of glue is forbidden.
 Modifications to the ground are allowed

7. GLIDER DESIGN COMPETITION

 Participants will be provided with Balsawood, superglue (Loctite), cutting


 board, Box cutter, sandpaper, ruler, pencil.
 b. Participants are not allowed to bring any of the raw materials on their own.
 c. Laptops/Cell phones/internet are not allowed in this Module.
 d. No extra time will be given.
 After Completion of Design, test phase will start in which all gliders made will be tested.
 Winner will be declared based on Design, Distance covered by Glider
 and the time of flight

8. CAD MODELING

It is a software based module to judge the skills of 3D Modeling.


Each team can consist of maximum 1 member.

 Lab PC’s will be used or you can bring your own laptops
 They have to complete the assigned task within a specific time.
 You Can CREO, AutoCAD or Solid Works Evaluation criteria.
 Completeness of design 80%.
 Time taken 20%.

9. BRIDGE DESIGN

Hey guys! We invite you to explore your creativity, innovation, and ingenuity in our bridge
building competition. Mark your calendars and put your problem-solving skills to test.

RULES:

 Participants may work in teams of 2 to 3 members


 All teams will be provided with same amount of material, ice cream sticks &
 Elfi glue will be provided, a ball point and 1 A4 sheet (for design etc.) will be provided.
 Team's can bring extra scissors or cutters if they need so.
 Total time given to the teams for making the bridge will be 2 hours. One hour will be
given for the bridge to set and dry before testing.
 No extra time will be given whatsoever
 Constructed bridge should have minimum dimensions as:
 height: 5 cm, length: 32 cm, width: 10 cm

 Bridges will be tested by successively adding weights on top of the bridges
 No re-testing or repairing is allowed!
 Scoring will be done on bridge design, Weight lifted, and a short Viva.

TIME:
Total time for making the bridge given to the teams will be 2 hours. One hour will be given for the bridge
to set and dry before testing. Time taken in testing (around an hour or so depending on number of teams)
is not included in this time.

10. WATER ROCKET COMPETITION

 Laptops cell phones/internet is not allowed in this Module b.


 Participants must adhere to the time limits, no extra time will be provided under any
circumstances.
 After Completion of Design test phase will start, in which all Water Rocket made will be
launched at an angle of 45.
 Winner will be decided on the basis of Design and Distance covered.

11. PROJECT EXHIBITION

Project Exhibition is an event focusing upon bringing realistic and capable projects
upfront. This event provides with the opportunity to the competitive projects to become
a commercial success. The projects should be in working condition .Team have to give
presentation on their project after exhibition.

12. EGG DROP COMPETITION

 The device must be able to protect an egg from breaking after falling at least one story.
 If your egg survives, you will move on to the next round which is one story higher - up
to nine (9) stories. See the judging criteria below for the case of ties.
 The device must not exceed 8” cubic area (8” x 8” x 8”).
 The following requirements are given for the loading of the device:
o The devices should not be loaded with an egg before the competition.
o All devices should be designed to be easily loaded by a third party at the
competition, i.e. within l minute or less. (This factor may be used to determine
a winner.)

o If there are special instructions for loading the device, these instructions
should be provided on a regular 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper with the student’s
name(s) and competition registration number together with the submission of
the device.
 The following materials are not allowed in the design:
 Any type of parachute contraption (designs must be able to free fall)
 Packing peanuts
 Metals (except for conjunction items such as screws, staples, paperclips, etc.),
glass, chemical containers, Styrofoam (with the exception of whole Styrofoam
cups), and thick wood (such as 2x4) and any food products.
 The egg remains intact. If any of the egg’s contents spills, the design is disqualified.
 The egg which survives the highest fall is considered the winner. If there is more than
one device which qualifies to be the winner, the judges will determine a winner based on
the following.
a. The size and weight of the design: Most points are awarded for the minimum size and
weight.
b. Ease of operation: Most points are awarded to the device which is the easiest to load.
c. Creativity and Engineering Practice: Most points are awarded to the device which
demonstrates the most creative design solution, the greatest knowledge of physical sciences,
and the greatest craftsmanship.
d. Durability of the Device: Most points are awarded to the device with the least damage by
the end of the competition.

13. SPEED WIRING

 This competition will consist of two rounds.Round1:All teams will be given a circuit to


implement with a maximum time of 1 hour. Round 2. best teams selected will compete
against each other for a different circuit with a maximum time of 1 hour.
 Circuit schematics would be provided on spot.
 Supplies, components and wires would be provided to the participants.
 Conversation and sharing of any material between teams is strictly prohibited.
 Top positions will be decided on the basis of circuit working, neatness and time taken by
the team to implement the circuit.
 Participants have only one chance to get their circuit evaluated. There would be no
second chance.
 Decision of the management would be final therefore the contestants cannot appeal
against it.
 If participant has any related queries, consult the management of the contest before the
session starts as such queries will not be entertained during contest.

14. DUMB CHARADES

 Team should be of maximum four & minimum three members.


 Maximum time for guessing will be 2 minutes.
 Moving of lips and pointing towards any obstacles is not allowed otherwise team will be
disqualified.
 Number of rounds will depend on number of team.
 Guessing include guessing Movies, Characters and Objects.
 Each team, on its turn, will pick a chit from a box, the member who will pick that chit
will tell the name of movie/character/object to his/her team member through gestures. If
team guesses the correct name then a team will get 10 points. IF team is not able to guess
5 marks will be deducted.
 Every member should participate in either of the rounds.

15. SINGING COMPETITION

 Performance must be of 3 minutes otherwise the participant will be disqualified.


 The songs chosen must be Pakistani else the participant will be Disqualified.
 Participants will be judged on the base of Sur, Taal and Scale grip. Extra Grace Points
will be awarded to creativity without Violation of Scale rules.
 Participants are not allowed to bring instrumentals.
 Participants are allowed bring instruments.
 Dues are non-refundable.
 The winner and Runner will be awarded Cash Prize.
 Orchestra will be provided.

16. SKETCHING COMPETITION:

An exhibition of sketches shall be carried out during the judgment round and will be open for
all to view.
The regulations and dues for Theme Sketching are:

 Theme will be announced at the contest.


 Two different themes will be announced.
 Organizers will provide the sheet only Participants have to bring their own tools.
 Participants will be given 3 hours to complete the contest.
 Participants must arrive on time. No admittance will be allowed.
 Participants must arrive 20 minutes before the start of contest.
 Sketch/image traced with the use of projector and other means are prohibited.

 Sketch/image must be drawn on the sheet provided. First 30 to 40 contestants signed
up and paid for the competition are in... First-come-first-serve.

17. ON-SPOT PHOTOGRAPHY

 This consists of three modules


 On campus photography i.e.
 Event coverage
 Portraits
 Landscapes
 For each module you have to submit 10 pictures on the given time .
 Only photos taken within HITEC University premises are accepted.
 Only SOOC (straight out of camera) is acceptable.
 Post processing is allowed.
 Digital manipulation is not allowed.
 You have to submit both raw images and edited images.
 Photos can be submitted to photo booth in CD/DVD, Flash Drive and SD card. Late
submission won’t be accepted.
 Photos will be judges on the basis of angles, colors, creativity and quality.

18. DRAMA COMPETITION

 Each team has to present a drama on any open topic of their choice with a clear theme
and message.
 No drama should exceed its maximum time limit (15 minutes).
 Marks will be deducted in case of violation of time limits.
 For stage setting maximum of 5 minutes will be provided prior to performance. If this
limit is exceeded then additional time will be counted in the performance.
 Judges are the ultimate authority and no one can challenge their decision.
 Participating teams are not allowed to portray any content in their performances which is
below moral standards e.g. loose or non – parliamentary language. In case of violation,
performance will be disqualified.
 Dramas pointing any political or national issues including social taboos would also be
encouraged if and only if presented in a proper manner.

 Photos should represent a story on the given theme as provided by HITEC

 It will be judged on the basis of photos and story.

Description:
We believe dance is the conversation between the body and the soul, do you? Here
is the time to show the world. Join us and be the part of this extravaganza.
Rules:
The performance should be solo.
Each member must submit their track/audio sound to the host team 2 hours
before the event.
Dance could be of any type either
i. Break Dance
ii. Folk Dance
iii. Cultural Dances (Provincial)
-Dance performance should be within the time limit i.e. 3 to 5 minutes.
-Marks will be deducted in case of violation of the time limit.
-Participating members are not allowed to portray any content in their performances which is
below moral standards. In case of violation, team will be disqualified.

22. SCAVENGER HUNT


Teams have a time-limit to complete their tasks. The highest scoring two teams will be declared winner
and runner-up.

Rules & Regulations

 Each team will be composed of a minimum of 2 or a maximum of 4 members.


 Each task will carry different points, depending on the level of difficulty.
 Taking help from others or using any unfair means to gain an advantage is strictly
prohibited, and will result in on the spot disqualification.
 Each team will complete the given tasks within a specified time period, failure to do so
will result in disqualification of the team.
 Only team leader should be present during the evaluation process of the tasks and all the
pictures and videos should be in one mobile which
 Punctuality is a must, teams that fail to reach the venue on time will result in straight

23. MINUTE TO WIN IT

Outline: The participants will be taking part in a series of simple and fun 60-second challenges.
Failure to complete the tasks within 60 seconds would result in elimination. There will be
multiple rounds. Whoever wins all or most of the rounds will be declared the winner of the
game.

 All decision taken by judges and sponsors are final.


 If a contestant is found cheating in any way or form when completing a challenge,
then he/she will be immediately disqualified from the entire competition.
 We reserve the right to eliminate a contestant for misbehaving with the Managerial Team,
judges or faculty.
 A participant will be considered disqualified, if he/she doesn't show up on thegiven time.
 Each challenge must be completed within the allotted time in order to advance to the next
round. If a contestant is competing against another, then he/she will
 Have to complete the task before the other contestant within a minute.
 During the late stages of the game, the competition will switch to one on one battle
between the contestants. If the given task is not completed, then the judges will
decide the winner on a points criteria i.e. the contestant who completed most of the
task will be declared the winner of that round.
 No extra chances will be given to any participant in any case.

25. CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (CSI)

Do you want to be like Sherlock Holmes? Have you ever fantasized about being on the scene of
a crime with your evidence bag? Do you love being a detective but never had the chance? Do
you think you have a special eye for analyzing evidence?

This is your, one chance, to be an investigator.

DESCRIPTION:

The participants will have to solve a crime case (could be a murder case) by identifying true
criminal(s), cause and consequence of the crime and the real story behind. They will proceed to
unfold clues by visiting places of interest and interrogating witnesses and suspects. Finally they
will make a report of whatever they conclude from their investigation.

OBJECTIVES:

 To estimate the 'number' and 'type' of crime(s).


 To identify the true criminal(s).
 To comprehend the cause and consequence of crime(s).
 Finding the clues, places of interest, suspicious items.
 To develop detailed information about the victim(s).
 To grasp the actual story

RULES:

Nothing difficult, just a few instructions.

 Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of your work.


 Keep an eye out. Be aware of your surroundings.

 Each team consists of two members


 Players take turns in a clockwise order; highest throw of the die starts.
 Each throw, the player decides which piece to move. A piece simply moves in a
clockwise direction around the track given by the number thrown. If no piece can legally
move according to the number thrown, play passes to the next player.
 A throw of 6 gives another turn. A player must throw a 6 to move a piece from the
starting circle onto the first square on the track.
 The piece moves 6 squares around the circuit beginning with the appropriately coloured
start square (and the player then has another turn). If a piece lands on a piece of a
different colour, the piece jumped upon is returned to its starting circle.
 If a piece lands upon a piece of the same colour, this forms a block. This block cannot be
passed or landed on by any opposing piece.

 When a piece has circumnavigated the board, it proceeds up the home column. A piece
can only be moved onto the home triangle by an exact throw.

45. QIRAAT

 Participants can only recite the Quranic verses. Participants can recite in both Hadr and
Mujawwid styles.
 Each participant will be given a maximum of 4 minutes to recite the verses from The
Holy Quran.
 Generally marking criteria will be based on following
 Recitation style
 Tajweed
 Talaffuz or pronunciation
 Voice quality
 If a participant makes a mistake while reciting, and the mistake was corrected by the
judges, the student will lose points.
 Similarly, if a student makes a mistake and fails to adhere to Tajweed rules, and the
mistake is corrected by the judges, the student will lose points as well.
 It is a solo event. You cannot work in a team.
 The decision given by the judges would be final. Judges’ decision could not be

47. PUKAAR (DECLAMATION)

 The event is comprised of single round.


 Participation as an individual speaker is allowed.
 Speaker may speak for a minimum of 4 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes. The first
bell will be sound after 4 minutes and second after 5 minutes. On the second bell speaker
shall leave the rostrum immediately.
 Paper reading and consultation of notes is disallowed and will be tantamount towards
negative marking.
 YouTube piracy will be discouraged in all its forms and ways. Use of old, previously
heard/spoken scripts will not be marked positively by the jury panel. Speakers should
come fully prepared with new contents.
 Any speaker passing offensive remarks against important dignitaries, making
inappropriate religious/political statements or using vulgar and derogatory terms will be
immediately disqualified.
 Any indecent remarks against the chair person, a member of audience or another
participant will not be tolerated and are also liable for instant disqualification. In such an
event, a speaker may be asked to step down from the podium during the speech.

 Round 1(Evaluation Round): All the teams will participate in this short round. This
round will be based on written test and 4 winner teams will be selected for final round.
This round will take almost 45-50 minutes’ maximum. (If there are more teams in
competition, up to 6 teams can be selected for final)
 Round 2 (Final Round): Winner of Evaluation round will play in this round. This round
will begin within 15-20 minutes of previous round. And this round will comprise of 3-4
interesting rounds in it. They can be changed if required. Summary is as follows:
 Round 1: Buzzer Round (With more than 12 questions so each team have chance to get
almost 3 questions)
 Round 2: MCQs with 5 questions for each team
