CORONAVIRUS IN MARIN
COUNTY IS UP TO 38
PEOPLE! By Myron Sofizade
On march 19th, the national emergencies pedademic (NEP) reported about
38 people caught coronavirus and are being treated at nearby hospitals.
Americans were relieved by this fact, others think it's a lie. So far, in Marin
County, the coronavirus spread has come up from zero to thirty eight. Find

Q: What do you care about the most, health, food, water, what?
A: Well dogs care about going outside on our daily walks and letting squirrels know that we want to eat
them and fighting with other dogs to prove that we deserve to eat grass but our owners aren’t getting the
message
Q: We’ve heard that 1 dog died from the novel Coronavirus another dog has been tested positive. What are
your thoughts?
A: Cupcake and Jilly are just boneheads. You tell them to not eat a dead ladybug and they completely
ignore you. Cupcake just has a Dog Cold and is a big drama queen.
Q: If you were president of the United States (we’ll make sure this doesn’t EVER happen) what would you
do?
A: Well, first I would ban this thingy called a *leash*. We should be able to be free, I mean the USA, which
stands for Union Sandie’s Archier, is a free country so why should we be held against our freedom!
Second I would ban people and have doggies rule the world!

Because of Covid-19, California is on lockdown. Every restaurant
is closing, every clothing store. This includes dog shelters, if they
are closing, where are the dogs going to go? I just feel so bad for
those dogs who might become homeless. That is why FKN is asking you
to take in at least 1 of these dogs JUST until Covid-19 gets resolved.
Please, help these poor animals out, their lives depend on you.
Have a kind heart.

Ever since the big outbreak of coronavirus in China, the countries near
have gotten large amounts of coronavirus deaths. Countries such as: Italy,
Mexico, Spain, US and more. Even though the outbreak started in China
long before reaching other continents, Italy has recently gotten more cases
than China. China has started to do much better since the outbreak
occurred some time ago. The President of China said on live TV: ” I advise
every citizen in China to stay indoors unless [they] need water or food or an
emergency. We are strong and we will get through this crisis together.” Yet
all the numbers that were added up and counted, for most, it was hard to
believe that Italy had more cases than China, since Coronavirus originated
in China. Find out more on https://finderskeepersnews.weebly.com. Stay

As you know, one of the biggest tournaments in history has been canceled,
due to coronavirus worries. On the big day, all the players and ball people
arrived, getting ready for either winning the tournament or serving it. But
since there were a lot of people, some people had concerns that there will
be some coronavirus activity. But there was nothing yet, so they couldn’t
worry. But as the matches started playing, parents of ball kids started
worrying that their child wasn’t safe, handing towels and doing other stuff
that involved touching, speaking and other unsafe activities during these
times.
Paranoid parents told the bosses of Indian Wells that they felt their
children weren’t safe running around and handing germ-infected towels to
sweaty tennis players. The bosses first insured the worried parents it was
okay. But as the matches kept going over and over, the parents became
on the last straw. They told the bosses they were leaving. the bosses
became worried. Without ball people, the players will have to get
everything themselves! And sure enough, it happened.
On March 14th 2 ball kid families left and headed back to their homes.
Later, someone in the stands got coronavirus! Due to that, the bosses
canceled indian wells. The people that arrived from san francisco to see
the plays were mad. They traveled so far to get to this tournament to
watch tennis players such as coco gauff and vennis williams play, and now
the entire thing was canceled! But most of the people were happy. Sitting
in those crowded spaces, sometimes can’t even see the plays that they
traveled far to see.
So what do you think? Do you think canceling the tournament was good, or not?

Lina Kostenko
Article written by Myroslav Hrekh
Apparently there is no person in Ukraine who would not know the name - Lina
Kostenko, an outstanding writer and poet. This year, March 19, she turned 90 years
old. This anniversary was the result of many years of activity of the brightest talent
of Ukraine, unwavering civic position, unquestionable authority and charisma. . She is
the author of more than 15 poetry collections, and her quotations from works have
become aphorisms.
Lina Kostenko was born in Rzhyshchiv, Kyiv region. The parents of the future poetess
taught and from early years instilled in the child high moral, ethical and aesthetic tastes,
provided literary, folklore and historical models for imitation. For her entire life, Lina had
an example of her father, Vasyl Kostenko, a nurse polyglot (he knew 12 languages), a
teacher from God who could teach all subjects at school at the highest level
In 1936, the family moved to Kiev, where Lina graduated from Kurenivka school and
began to attend a literary studio at the Dnipro magazine, edited by Andrey Malyshko.
One terrible day, his father was arrested and taken away from his family for ten
years. Little Lina even then did not imagine what it was to be the daughter of the
"enemy of the people", she simply could not put up with the soul, for what and why
her so kind, intelligent, intelligent dad was so unceremoniously and brutally
humiliated, cut off from her and her mother
In the postwar years, Lina began to attend a literary studio at the Union of Writers
of Ukraine. She has long been remembered by peers and even already known talents,
not only aristocratic beauty, which testified to the deep spirituality of the inquisitive
teenage girl, but also surprisingly fresh poems, an original view of the world and the
ability to reproduce what she saw in unexpected words.
In 1946, Lina's first poems were published. The girl entered the Kiev Pedagogical
Institute. M. Gorky (now M. Drahomanov Pedagogical University), but left it and went
to study at the Moscow Literary Institute. M. Gorky. Here, she met her future
husband, a Polish student, Jerzy-Jan Pahlowski, who became the father of her
writer-daughter Oksana Pahlowska. However, this marriage did not last long. Lina
Kostenko made her second marriage with the director of the film studio. Dovzhenko,
Vasily Tsvirkunov, with whom she lived for 25 years, until his death. She bore him a
son, Basil.
In 1957, the first book of her poetry, "Ray of the Earth," was published. The second
collection, Sails, was published in 1958, and later, the Journey of the Heart (1961).
In 1962, the collection "Star Integral" was scattered with ideological censorship and
did not see the world. Another collection, The Prince of Mountains, was scattered in
1972. It was not surprising, because the sound of the poetry of the collection was so
bold at the time that one could not even imagine that these works could be printed.
The poetic word of Lina Kostenko was banned, her works were not published in
separate editions until 1977, until the collection "Over the banks of the eternal river"
appeared. The works and even the author's name disappeared from the pages of the
periodical. The poet wrote "in a drawer". It was then written by "Berestechko",
"Marusya Churai", and poems that compiled the books "Over the banks of the eternal
river" and "Uniqueness".
On her literary journey, Lina Kostenko had to endure almost fifteen years of not
recognizing her as an artist. It was a sad period in the life of the writer in particular
and in the history of Ukrainian literature in general. But even then she wrote. She
did not break down, did not despair, did not faint, but honed her poetic word.
The years 1964-1965 were, at times, a time of revaluation of values, in particular
worldviews. L. Kostenko did not belong to any dissident organizations, but when
arrests of the Ukrainian intelligentsia began in 1965, she signed protest letters when
Vyacheslav Chornovil and his friends were tried in Lviv, and she was on trial. In 1969,
a large collection of Poetry was published in the Diaspora, which included all the best
poetry created at that time, including poems that were distributed in "samizdat"
because of the ban on censorship at that time.
In 1977 Lina Kostenko returned to poetry - her collection "Over the banks of the
eternal river" was published, two years later - a novel in poems "Marusya Churai", in
1980 - a collection "Uniqueness", in 1987 - a collection " Garden of Non-Woven
Sculptures. " For her novel in the poems “Marusya Churai” and the collection “The
Uniqueness” of the poet she received the State Prize of Ukraine named after TG
Shevchenko.
The novel in Lina Kostenko's poems "Marusya Churai" should be especially noted here.
These are unique pictures of beautiful Ukrainian nature:
'' I'll go under the dam, I'll still be fasting,
I'll talk to our cheers,
drink more sweet infusion
those young cherry evenings. ''
'' The sadness of the evening,
the velvet rocked.
And only a rider after the Poltava moat
somewhere in the clatter of hooves. ''
'' Sometimes, sometimes I get blind from beauty.
I will stop, I do not understand that it is a miracle -
these steppes, this is the sky, these forests,
everything is so beautiful, clean, irresistible,
everything as it is - the road, the maples,
everything is mine, everything is called Ukraine.
Such beauty, high and incorruptible,
that at least go back and talk to God. ''
.
In 1994, Lini Kostenko was awarded the Francesca Petrarca Prize for the book "Inlay",
published in Italian, by which a consortium of Venetian publishers commemorates
the works of eminent writers of today. In 1998, in Toronto, the World Congress of
Ukrainians awarded L. Kostenko his highest distinction - the St. Vladimir Medal. In
1999, a historical novel was written in the Berestechko poems and a separate
booklet was published."The Humanitarian Aura of the Nation, or the Defect of the
Main Mirror," read September 1, 1999, at Kyiv Mohyla Academy. In 2000, Lina
Kostenko became the first laureate of the International Literary and Art Prize.
Helena Teliga. She was also awarded the Honorary Mention of the President of
Ukraine (1992) and the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the 5th degree in March
2000.
Summarizing this article, it should be noted that Lina Kostenko has always been an
ardent patriot of Ukraine, a fighter for her identity and independence. Her words
inspired others in their desires and actions, in freedom and in prisons, in audiences
and on the streets. So let us wish her health, happy longevity, fruitful creativity for
the benefit of our homeland of Ukraine.

Protect Our Planet

It All Started With a Seed . . .
Our earth is an amazing gift and we are so lucky to witness the beauty. Over the years, we have been
relying a bit too much on electronics. Imagine a world without trees or nature. That is a world that we
probably can’t imagine, but sooner or later, this is what is going to happen.
Not only that but people use a little bit too much paper. Every year, people use 300 million tons of
paper. In no time, our forests will die and we will be left wondering how this all happened. Humans
need plants to produce oxygen for use to breath, without it, we will die!
On March 16th 2020, for the very first time, a dog died from COVID-19. The
dog, which belonged to a 60-year-old woman who recovered from
the disease known as COVID-19, had previously tested "weak
positive" for the virus, Fox News previously reported. The dog,
whose infection was discovered in February, is believed to be the
first known case of human-to-animal transmission of the virus.
As predicted, the novel Coronavirus has reached Marin County. In just one night, the cases
went from 25 to 38. It seems as though our lives will never be the same again, and you are
right. Our lives will never be the same after this epidemic is done. Schools have shut down,
people under self-quarantine, towns under lockdown, people afraid to come near anyone,
and washing their hands super frequently. Right now, people are afraid, scared, worried
about what will happen to them. Most of these people are parents.
This epidemic has really frightened parents who are frequently reading the news and
hoping that the coronavirus has slowed down in their area. Because of the fright that has
been going around the globe, people are stocking themselves up with supplies, because
they are scared. We are only hurting ourselves when we panic shop and buy 100 loaves of
bread. People calm down, we aren’t going to be on lockdown for 10 years.
Parents are always looking out for their children, they want to guarantee that their children
get into the best college, the best career choice, and the best health. Except you can’t
guarantee that during a deadly epidemic. Some children understand that their parents are
scared, worried, stressed out, and they help them out in any way they can.
How can you help your parents? Well for starters, you could ask to help clean the house or
vacuum the house or do some other chore that your parents were going to do today. If you
have little siblings, you could help them get their homework done so that your parents
don’t have to. There are many ways you can help your parents through this epidemic and
all of them, even the tiniest of things, would make a huge difference for your parents.
FKN is doing a challenge. The challenge is called “1 Chore a Day”. So basically do 1 chore a
day to help end the Coronavirus spreading. We’re not asking for much, our goal is to have
each child in the family do 1 Chore a day to help their parents relieve stress.
Is your parent(s) still stressed? Well then, remember the Yoga that we did at school? Well it
really calmed me down and it could calm your parents down too. Watch a YouTube video
on how to do Yoga that calms your stress and have them do it. Believe me, it works.
So please, the next time you have nothing to do, help your parents with 1 chore. All we’re
asking is for you to spend 20 minutes on 1 chore. Who knows, you might really help your
parents just by doing one chore.
Q. What did the Science book tell to the math book?
A. Wow you have problems!

ruins, but life is dying, streets are deserted, trade is stopped, transport, thousands of
people are dying.
The conclusion is that one should stumble, stop, not build up the arsenal of
deadly weapons, but on the contrary, be consistently liquidated under the mutual
agreements of the leaders of the world. We must encourage them to do so by our voice,
political, social, public activity. With our unwavering position, we will do our utmost to
ensure that our children, grandchildren, and their descendants have the opportunity to
live on this beautiful planet Earth with dignity. This is the number 1 challenge today.
