QA: “Community group purchase” status and countermeasure based on domestic e-commerce and
foreign retail brands.

QB:
Starting from the online shopping that the people are familiar with, many new retail business
models have flooded into China. Relying on the Internet, different business models have been
developing and updating. Community group-buying started to gain momentum in 2017, and a
strong wind blew in 2018 and 2019. More and more new projects began to emerge, and many
capitals also stepped into this field. As a new retail model, community group purchase, a
phenomenal-level business form, is the market response to the hidden risk behind the consumption
upgrade, and also the market verification to deal with this risk.
However, the continuous entrepreneurship of consumption upgrading needs to guard against
possible big variables in the future. In addition, the development and changes of China's
consumption economy revealed behind it, it is necessary for us to conduct a more in-depth and
comprehensive study of this new business model.

QC:1. Topic content relevance. In the topic of business, the first thing that comes to my mind is e-
commerce. I have been engaged in e-commerce, physical retail, new media and other related work
in university, so I am very interested in the content of the new online e-commerce model, and I have
some relevant research and experience. 2. Different knowledge module combine together to form a
new topic is a very interesting thing, learned in their own content, based on the different aspects of
the knowledge integration, ours, frame out of their own unique knowledge system. 3. Community
group is closely related to our life, whether it's fresh fruit, and daily necessities, very close to our
life.

QD: Traditional e-commerce traffic dividends have been exhausted, the cost of customer acquisition
continues to rise, at this time, the traffic value of mobile social network has been widely concerned,
the integration of e-commerce and social business model for e-commerce enterprises to reduce the
cost of drainage provides a good plan. Starting from the development background and status quo of
social e-commerce, this paper introduces community group purchase as a mainstream business
model, and makes a comparative analysis with traditional e-commerce. The new model of group-
buying community is faced with huge variables and many new challenges, but also need to continue
to improve, update the iteration, I hope to analyze and compare with the existing and more mature
business models at home and abroad, expose the existing problems of the new model, and put
forward some of their own views and solutions.

Community group-buying is a new type of business after O2O and new retail. It is the Internet
model of group-buying in 3.0 era .It’s an innovation of e-commerce channel and mode based on
WeChat ecology. At the same time , this brings me to the word “sharing economy” , Sharing
economy is popular in the world, many kinds of sharing industry flow over into the domestic ——
Shared cycling, Shared charging treasure, and so on? However,it seems the new economy that has
lost its momentum as at the beginning, such as ofo (the earliest and most famous shared bicycle
brand in China),the decline of bike across the country, and a variety of Shared economic industry
have failed or even disappear. That makes us think, why everybody knows such kind of "hot style"
economic model is in such a situation? Is it because of its own business model? Or is the technology
driving it weak? ……
As a new model also standing in the wind, we can not help but think, what problems did it have in
the process of development? This is necessary to improve so that this new model doesn't just
survive for a short time and then disappear. Therefore, I think it is very important for us to conduct
an in-depth study on the “community group-buying” model to solve problems and deal with a series
of challenges now or in the future.

We want to analyze these existing mature business model, and compare with the new pattern
through different dimensions of , finding out the different driving force and success factors
between different various patterns ,etc. Then drawing lessons from successful model about its series
of mechanism to solve the problem of new model .It can even identify potential problems to guide
the next direction of development, and provide better project guidance for the new model.
This project intends to take pin duo duo( 拼 多 多 ) , an online shopping App, and Costco, a
supermarket that has just entered China, as the background support.

existing domestic and foreign more mature business model, expose the problems of the new model,
and put forward some views and solutions.
