Strengths and barriers of creating an educational tool

Creating an educational video requires a lot of planning. While it is extremely helpful

for an easy digestion of a lot of information at once, it has many hurdles to create.
Educational videos require concise planning so that the balance between formal scripting and
casual simple speech remain. This allows for the audience to have an easier listening
experience.

While making an educational video its important to note that planning will help to
avoid many scripting errors as well. Some users prefer to begin with the imagery first and
script. It could be useful to overview all the most important points about a topic and then
abandon any excessive unnecessary information.

In the presentation, there were quite a few technical errors, it would be helpful for
future videos to prepare with back-ups in mind. For future videos, it would also be helpful to
have written dot-points rather than a robotic sounding script which eventually proved to be
unnecessary.
