 Arabian dance
(Arabic: ‫رقص عربي‬, translit. raqs ʿarabiyy), also known as Oriental dance,

in the Arab world. Arabian dance has many types, including three main
types of folk, classical, and contemporary stories. It is enjoyed and

style from the early 20th century. Thus, Egyptian Beledi means "out of
Egypt" It happened when a farmer moved to the city and started dancing
in a small room. The Egyptians had Baladi tribe, Baladi bread, Baladi
rhythm, Baladi music and Baladi dance. It's a folk / social part of belly

Ad Dahha dance
Ad Dahha, a war dance initiated by tribes in northern Saudi Arabia in the
past, has now become a ritual of marriage celebrations in the northern
part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its northern borders.
Some historians say that the dance was created by the Anza Tribe before
the emergence of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula. According to history
books, a small group of people from this tribe went out one night on
patrol as they saw some movements.
Abdominal dance
There is a very popular tradition in the Middle East or the Arab region.
We know it as a belly dance. The people there call it raqs sharqi (eastern
dance) or raqs baladi (national dance). This is a popular dance around the
world. Most of the dancers are women. Although there is little known
history of belly dance, some believe it was originally from Egypt. These
ancient dances are performed in two styles: sharqi raqs (improvised solo
dance) and ballad raqs (folk dance). Abdominal dance was always a
wedding event, with the intention of getting fertility for the newlyweds.
Both dancers of the sexes of both men and women, in Saudi Arabia, this
dance is not to be seen by men. Understandably, belly dance focuses on
hip and chest muscle movements.
Stomach dance or commonly called Oriental Dance, is not a seductive
dance. There are some places that have misused this dance for
inappropriate entertainment, but the history of this dance has nothing to
do with pornographic material.
Abdominal dance has been around for 100 years before AD. The dance
was introduced to various countries in the Middle East by the Ancient
Egyptians. According to history, there are two opinions on the formation
of belly dance. The first says that belly dance is a middle eastern folk
dance aimed at spreading joy and passion through its movement.
Therefore, these dances are usually performed during festive events such
as weddings, Thanksgiving, or festivals. The second opinion says that
belly dance is a human performance dance for the gods. The dance was
performed to draw closer to the gods and to eradicate human error.
Various countries such as Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey
know this dance. As a traditional dance, belly dance is featured in
traditional events, such as weddings and other events. This dance is
performed by both men and women.
Zapin dance
Zapin comes from the Arabic language "Zafn" which has the meaning of
fast foot movement at beat speed. Zapin dance is a Malay heritage that
influences of Arab. This traditional dance is educational and at the same
time entertaining, being used as an Islamic medium of preaching through
poems of sung hymns.
Zapin's dance is a growing trend in Malaysia, but it was introduced to
Malaysia by merchants from Arab and Yemeni countries. According to
its history, this dance was once an entertainment in the royal palaces.
Then in the 16th century the dance began to be carried by merchants to
areas of Johor such as Singapore, Malaysia, Riau and flourished there.
Since merchants are usually men, this dance was originally performed
only by men.
As time went on, the women learned Zapin and now can be performed by
women or men and women together. Zapin is a dance that has a lot of
movement.
