Who would have thought that when I was
at school today, that it would be my last day
for a while. At the end of the day, someone in
our class mentioned the Corona Virus and
how some schools are closed for a few weeks.
My teacher said that our school hasn’t made
that decision, so until we hear something
more, she’d see us on Monday to start our
state testing.
I went home, ready to start my weekend.
Then my ordinary weekend, became
extraordinary. Governor Pritzker made the
announcement that all Illinois schools would
be closed until March 30​th​. That’s two weeks!
