MAPPING WEATHER DATA DIRECTIONS

1. Visit arcgis.com
2. Click on the SEARCH
icon (red circle to the
right):
3. Search for [type]: teachwithgis_ABC7
4. Click on this:
5. On the next screen
click on “Open in Map Viewer” (Blue box to the
right)
6. Navigate on the map to your location

7.On the left, Click

on “Edit” then click
on the red dot for
new feature and
use your mouse,
etc. to drop a point
on the map where you are.
8. Enter the data you recorded and feel free to
include a picture! Click the X when done.
9. You can then modify the map in any way you
want: (change the basemap, click on “Details”
and modify the properties of ABC7 Outside the
classroom
