GENERAL MEETING MINUTES NO: 05

AHAMED THURAI TRUST FUND (ATF)

The Vice President welcomed all the ATF members and handed over to the Secretary to conduct the meeting after
reciting Yaseen and Dua for who left this mortal world.
The Secretary read out the meeting minutes of the last meeting and it was proposed by Eng. Latheef and seconded
by Dr. Badurdeen with the following amendments.
 A book publishing committee had been appointed with the following members
 Mrs. Fathahathul Alma Ahamed C. Mohideen, Secretary
 Mrs. Jiffrith Ahamed Bawa
 Mr. Siraj Mohideen
 Last meeting venue was corrected as 33c, Huludhagoda Road, Mt. Lavinia

The Secretary stated that the book will be published prior to 12 th September 2019. Further to that Mr. Siraj
Mohideen explained the status of the book draft and he stated that 60% of the detail were collected and draft will be
submitted prior to June, 2019.

Secretary informed and welcomed newly born six (6) members who joined ATF by birth rights. Further she stated
that six (6) projects were completed successfully and scholarship for Advanced Level students is on progress with
monthly expense of Eight Thousand Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR 8,000.00). Also, she explained the funding issue has been
the obstacle to continue the scholarship project for new candidates since ATF has to allocate the fund for 8 students
annually which means One hundred and Ninety-Two Thousand Sri Lankan Rupees (12 x 8 x 2000 = LKR 192,000.00).

It was suggested to pay the subscription fee for six months continuously without fail to overcome the scholarship
funding issue and this was agreed by all members.

Finally, secretary invited all the members to pay the subscription fees and an amount of One Hundred and Three
Thousand and Five Hundred Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR. 103,500.00) was collected.
