Introduction:

In our modern times, computers or technology covered the eyes of the world. Everything
in this world has something to do with technology so, with the teaching-learning process. This
technology changes the way teacher teaches, it also make a mark as aid of instruction.

Course:

Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English.

When I was in high school, I am uncertain on what course I will take college. My parents
are the ones who encouraged me to take this course. At first, I am so not into it but as time passes
by, I really enjoyed being one of education students and until now I’m enjoying it and I’m very
eager to finish this course.

Software:

“SPEAK OUT CORRECTLY”


Software for Proper Pronunciation of Words

Students’ always having a hard time pronouncing words most especially those words that
are unfamiliar and in need of syllabication, elimination and putting stressed in a syllable. There
are also some cases that a student is also having a difficulty pronouncing letters F and P; SH and
CH; L and R and the likes. They always pronounce it interchangeably which is resulting to the so
called “Speech Deficiency”.

With this regard, I suggest this software called “SPEAK OUT CORRECTLY”,
software for Proper Pronunciation of Words. It will help students in pronouncing words
correctly, with correct syllabication, articulation, intonation and sounds of every letter.

The software includes speech practices and activities wherein students will be able to
hear first the correct pronunciation so that when it’s their turn to pronounce the words, they can
pronounce it properly. It is a modular kind of approach; students will have to comply with 10
modules for them to finish the software.

Criteria:

The following criteria are considered in choosing the software suggested above.

 Students

1. It should fit the level of understanding of the students.


2. It should help students to pronounce the words correctly.
3. It should make the students learn.
 Parents

1. The amount of the software must be worth the learning that their children can get.
2. It should be used longer.
3. The software must have a good effect to their children.

 Teachers

1. It should be easy to operate.


2. It should comply with the lessons objectives.
3. It should fit to the learners abilities.

 School

1. It should uplift the quality of education of the school.


2. It should help in school promotion.

 Community

1. The software must help students in helping the community


2. It should have good effect in students when they get out of the community.

Conclusion:

Speech Deficiency is one of the problems that the students are encountering nowadays.
Teachers and parents must join hand in hand to find solution to this problem. With the help of
technology, this will be resolved but in depends upon the teacher how he/she will use this
technology as aid of instruction in an a most effective way.
