In response to Division Memorandum no. 123 s. 2020, CRITICAL DELIVERABLES


OF SCHOOL HEADS”. The memorandum mandated the drafting of SLAC/INSET that aims
to develop and support successful teachers by nurturing their knowledge, attitudes, and
competencies in terms of curriculum, instruction, and assessment in their work stations.

With this regard, Kasiglahan Village Elementary School would like to inform your
good office and submit the INSET Program for implementation. The INSET Program was
based from the ELLN and teachers needs analysis made by the master teachers. The date
and time that was included in the INSET Program is in Compliance of DepEd Order no. 9 s,
2005 entitled, Instituting Measures to Increase Engage Time-On-Task.

Attached herewith is the INSET Program and Matrix for your references.

Date: May 25-29, 2020

1. As per DepEd Order No. 7, s.2019 entitled “Calendar of Activities for School Year
2019-2020”; the school year shall consist of 203 days, inclusive of the five-day In-
Service Training Break; and Division Memorandum no. 123 s. 2020, In-Service
training of Kasiglahan Village Elementary School entitled: “KVES In-Service
Training on Renewing Commitment and Improvement of Delivery of Basic
Education”, will be held on May 25-29, 2020 at the school’s session hall.

2. The objective of this In-Service Training are as follows:


A. To enhance the teachers’ pedagogical knowledge, skills and attitudes in early
grades literacy and numeracy.
B. To improve teachers’ ability in assessing the learners in early grades in literacy
and numeracy skills.
C. To improve the teaching – learning process that will lead to improved learning
among the pupils.
D. To Acquire an in-depth understanding of the teaching learning process; and
E. To Update information, Media and Technology Skills

3. All teachers of Kasiglahan Village Elementary School are the participants of this
activity.

4. To ensure the success of this training workshop, all teachers are required to attend
and fully participate in this 5-day activity.

on School’s Access, Quality and Governance. It is a venue for continues and
effective in service training for teachers’ development.

School – based In-Service Training (INSET) will provide an opportunity for


teachers to sit together, review on some specific instructional concerns and discuss
on topics that can solve everyday problems in the classroom. This will also serve to
support the teachers for some innovative practices that would enhance their skills
and competencies. Teachers will be equipped with the necessary teaching strategies
and techniques in developing the children literacy and numeracy skills and attitude.

II – OBJECTIVE:

 To enhance the teachers’ pedagogical knowledge, skills and attitudes in early


grades literacy and numeracy.
 To improve teachers’ ability in assessing the learners in early grades in
literacy and numeracy skills.
 To improve the teaching – learning process that will lead to improved learning
among the pupils.
 To Acquire an in-depth understanding of the teaching learning process
