ISO 45001:2018 is designed to help organisations around the world ensure the health and safety of the people who
make their business possible. ISO 45001 requires an organization to look beyond its immediate health and safety
issues and take into account what the wider society expects of it. Organisations have to think about their contractors
and suppliers, as well as the effects their activities have on neighbouring communities.

As globalisation continues to escalate, organisations’ stakeholders are expecting organisations to be ethical in every
aspect of their business, especially in the way they treat employees. ISO 45001 gives organisations an internationally
recognised occupational health and safety standard to follow. This standard provides the specification for formal,
systematic analysis and management of risk, management of regulatory compliance, promotion of safe work
practices, and evaluation of occupational health and safety performance. A systematic approach facilitates a decrease
in the number of incidents and ultimately less disruption to business.

ISO 45001 lead auditor course offers instruction, discussion, exercises, case studies and presentations designed to
assist you to understand, and take part in, all of the activities scheduled over the five days.

Learning Objectives:

This course is designed to:

 Explain the requirements of ISO 45001:2018 in context of audit.
 Describe the purpose of OHSMS and explain of ISO 45001:2018, processes and techniques for identification
and assessment of OHSMS
 Explain documentation and implementation of OHSMS
 Provide detailed knowledge of the auditing process including the role and responsibility of auditors and lead
auditors in line with ISO 19011:2018.
 Audit reporting including Non-Conformance reports

 Introduction to of ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and management systems and the process

 Components of PDCA in of ISO 45001:2018

 Opening meeting
 Audit technique
 Raising Non-conformities
 Closing Meeting
 Case study and exercises on various OHSMS elements and auditing practices for effective implementation
 Examination

Duration:
The course duration is 40 hours (five days) via virtual classroom and every day course will begin at 9.00 A.M. till 6.00
P.M. Dates for training are 11 to 15th April 2020

Experienced Faculty

All the Intertek Training programs are delivered by qualified faculties and subject-matter experts who are able to share
their industry experience with delegates.

Intertek faculties are registered International Auditors in respective field. They are specially trained on accelerated
learning techniques and have working experience in many countries around the globe .

Certificate:

Exam must be invigilated within 180 days of the last date of the course in a real training room. A certificate of
attendance would be given to all the delegates who attend the full session and satisfactorily complete the continuous
assessment. Successful completion certificate of the course will be issued to those participants who passed the written
examination. However, participants who do not qualify in the written examination will be given certificate of
attendance only.
