AIR LAW ACADEMY AND RESEARCH CENTRE
(ALARC)
ALARC is a public trust registered under the Bombay Public
Trust Act.It aims to promote quality legal education.It is also
India's leading editorial and research centre with highly
talented and experienced team of academicians, scholars and
professionals.
The University is functioning as the nodal agency to uplift HIGH COURT OF MADRAS
the legal education in the State of Tamil Nadu. It is the first
full fledged Sui generis Law University in the country named
after the architect of Indian Constitution, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar.It
was established under the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law Hon'ble Thiru Justice M.M.Sundresh completed his B.A.
University Act, 1996 and was inaugurated by His excellency Degree at Loyola College, Chennai and B.L.Degree at
Shri.K.R.Narayanan, former President of India on September Madras Law College. He was enrolled as an Advocate in
20, 1997. It is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) the year 1985.He served as a member of the Monitoring
and University Grants Commission (UGC)(Sec. 2(f) & 12(b) of
Committee to oversee the establishment of Reverse
the UGC Act). It   is also a member of the Association of
Osmosis System to the Dyeing Units of Thiruppur, Karur
Indian Universities (AIU), Association of Common Wealth
Universities, U.K and Indian Institute of Public
and Erode Districts on directions of the Hon'ble High
Administration, New Delhi. Court. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of
Madras High Court in 2009 and  as a Permanent Judge
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAM of Madras High Court in 2011.
The Professional Development Training Program is an
advanced professional learning intended to help various
people develop in their fields. The Goal of this program is to
keep you up to date on current trends as well as help you
develop new skills for the purpose of advancement in the
FEATURED SPEAKER
field.

ALARC has founded "Lawspice.com" and flair talk, India's first
legal magazine that summarizes news stories from a legal
lens view. The website hosts a wide range of study and
research tools for all members of the legal fraternity. Follow

AIR CAFE caters to Clinical Legal Education (CLE) as per BCI
Legal Education Rules,2008 - Sec 7(1)(h) & (i). Currently
seven cafes are operational across India. It is a CSR initiative
by the group to provide free access to the legal information
from leading publications. It aims at rekindling the reading
habits of the legal fraternity, encouraging professional
networking and mentoring law aspirants.AIR CAFE regularly
conducts seminars, workshops and lecture series by legal
luminaries for Law Students, Advocates and Professionals.

PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS
T.S.N. Sastry is a legal educator whose teaching career spans
over more than two and half decades. He also has to his
credit, research experience in the-fields of International Law
and Human Rights. He received The Best Innovative Teacher
Award in 2016 by the Savitribai Phule Pune University and
Vijaya Shree Award from the Indian International Friendship
Society, New Delhi in 2005 for the propagation of Human
Rights Education.He served as Dean, Director and Controller
of Examinations at The Tamilnadu Dr.Ambedkar Law
University, Chennai and as the Head of Department of
Law,University of Pune.
MR.A.RAMESH
SENIOR ADVOCATE,
HIGH COURT OF MADRAS
Senior Advocate Mr. A Ramesh, graduated from
Government Law College in 1983. He is noted in the
legal fraternity for his forte in criminal law and high-
profile Supreme Court cases. In 2008, he became
Senior Advocate at Madras High Court and in 2019, in
recognition of his unruffled demure and astute sense of
law, he was appointed as the Special Government Public
Prosecutor representing Hon'ble Governor of Tamil
Nadu. In his free time, he takes classes at Judicial
academies.
