DPF Regeneration During Shipping

Shipping Instruction

If not disabled, the Diesel Particle Filter (DPF) regeneration may start at any time!
WARNING! The DPF regeneration causes the exhaust and exhaust system to become extremely hot!

Enable/Disable DPF Regeneration

At work site During shipping

The indicated switch on the driving panel enables/disables DPF regeneration.

DPF regeneration must always be disabled during shipping, and when indoors.

When the vehicle is in production at the work site, DPF regeneration should be enabled,
see the instruction manual for your vehicle.

Regenerating the DPF

If the indicated light on the driving panel is flashing,

the Diesel Particle Filter (DPF) needs to be regenerated.
If the DPF is not regenerated, the engine power will
gradually ramp down and eventually the vehicle

will not drive.

Temporarily enable DPF Regeneration

Take the vehicle to a safe area outdoors, where the hot gases will not damage anything.

Enable DPF regeneration, by moving the switch as indicated.

Regeneration will start when the engine reaches working temperature.
Regeneration takes 20-30 minutes and is complete when the light goes out.

Keep DPF Regeneration disabled during shipping

When regeneration is completed, remember to disable DPF regeneration.
