Action Plan
Reflective Statement
The practices mentioned in the action plan are designed in order to combat the problems of the students as
well as the personal skills. As such, they are designed by taking in consideration of the problem. For
example, providing the class with optional additional tasks will help Lissa maintain her focus in studies. At
the same time, since the tasks are optional, other students need not participate in it. The tasks will not
provide any special advantages other than personal satisfaction. If the tasks were given to Lissa alone, this
would have created a sense of discrimination among the students. Another example would be plan to
encounter more cases of listening in order to improve active listening and patience. These skills require
grinding, as being in a constant state of listening to people will either improve the skills or break them
completely. Based on this argument, it can be said that the practices are effective in dealing with one-on-one
teaching and learning situations.
