IKEA:

EICEA is a European multinational group that is designs and sells ready


to assemble furniture kitchen appliances and home accessories among
other useful goods and occasionally home services. It was founded in
Sweden in 1943 by Ingvar Kampard.

Affect Demand of IKEA

There are five main determinants that affect the demand of IKEA.

They are as follow:

To keep prices low IKEA store buy and transport product in bulk. So
IKEA due to low prices make large sales and provide self-service and
assembly concept.

The main raw materials used in IKEA products are wood cotton, metal,
plastic, glass and rattan so IKEA make arrangement for transport of
material in specified time. It buys the material which can fulfill market
demand.

Nestle:

Nestle S.A. is a Swiss multinational food & drink processing co-


operation. It is the largest food company in the world, measured by
revenues and other metrics. It was founded in 1866.

Nestle demand is affected by:-

Quantity of Purchase:-

They purchase there raw material in bulk from the 700,000 farmers
directly, all around the world.

Nestle buy raw material from farmers directly and issue invoices in
return. They provide transport for the delivery of raw material in
specified time.

Puma is a German Multinational Company that designs and


manufacture athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories,
which is headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany. PUMA
is a third largest sportswear manufacturers in the world. The company
was founded, in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler.

Nike, Inc. is an American national corporation that is engaged in the


design, development, manufacturing and worldwide marketing and
sales of apparel, footwear, equipment, accessories and services.

The company was founded on “January 25, 1964” as Blue Ribbon


Sports by “Bill Bowerman” and officially became Nike Inc. on “May
30, 1971”. The company takes its name Nike from Greek goddess of
victory.

shoe, shirts etc. production.
3. Ensuring appropriate utilization of capital equipment and facilities.
4. Maintaining needed quantities of inventories work in progress and

5. Scheduling the production activities to ensure that the process is
proceeding in accordance with the plan.
