Announcing the ninth annual DEAD ELF MUSIC AWARD

for an outstanding composition by a University of Pittsburgh

graduate student. All currently enrolled graduate students in
music are eligible to apply.

Amount of the award: $500

Applicants should submit whatever they consider to be their best

composition: one printed copy of the score and links to downloads
of a pdf of the score and, if available, a recording. (A data stick is
also acceptable). Purely electroacoustic works will be considered,
in which case the score requirement is waived. The jury for the
competition will remain anonymous.

All materials are due in office on April 1, 2020, and should be
