So this is a card game that came out in a Shonen Jump - based on a oneshot by Kazuki
Takahashi. It's a game you can play with a slightly modified deck of playing cards and it
seems fairly neat.

Force Cards
Ace through 9 cards are called Force Cards. They're played to the field so you can play
Monster Parts from your hand, and they're also used to attack your opponent.
10 = Chimera
Jack (11) = Hydra
Queen (12) = Pegasus
King (13) = Dragon

Game Field
During the game, use this Game Field to put the cards in their proper locations. You can
download a field like the one here online!
1 - Force Zone
The zone for placing Force Cards, or cards from Ace to 9. You can put a maximum of 4 Force
Cards in this zone. Use the cards placed here to bring out Monster Parts!
3 - Deck Area
The set of 52 playing cards used for DRUMP are called the Deck, and are placed here
face-down.
4 - Discard Pile
The zone for placing Force Cards that have been used to attack or to bring out a Monster
Parts, as well as discarded Monster Parts.

GAME START!!
drump035.jpg
This game is played in alternating turns. Each player may draw a card at the start of their
respective turns.

drump04_02.jpg
In order to win, you'll have to play Force Cards from your hand and quickly assemble all 4
types of Monster Parts!
In addition, on a later turn, if you want to play another card in a Force Zone with a Force
Card already in it, the second card or more must be played face-down on that zone.
If you have 2 or more Force Cards in a single Force Zone whose numbers add up to the
number of a Monster Parts Card in your hand, you can play that Monster Parts Card from
your hand. Then, send the used Force Cards to the discard pile.
You can only play 1 Monster Parts Card from your hand per turn!!
If you assemble the 4 types of Parts - Head, Wings, Body, and Tail...DRUMP!
If you have all the parts, you win! Even if the monster parts you have are all mixed up, as
long as you've got 1 of each type, it's OK!

End of Turn
At the end of your turn, if you have 6 or more cards in your hand, discard until you have 5!!
If you don't have to discard, simply declare the end of your turn, and play shifts to the
opponent. At the end of a player's turn, they must discard cards until they have 5 cards in
hand.

By attacking your opponent's Force Zones, you can decrease the gathered Cost cards and
stop your opponent's strategy in its tracks!
Attack
Once per turn, you may play a Force Card from your hand to attack an opposing Force Zone.
If there are any face-down cards in that zone, they are revealed, and the Cost of that Force
Zone becomes the sum of all cards in that Zone plus the Force Card used to attack. If there
is an Ace card in the attacked zone, its owner must choose whether that Ace is treated as 1
or 11.
Block
The attacked player may use cards from their hand to block an opponent's attack.
If the card used to block has a higher value than the attack card, the block is successful!!

Extra Jack
Once per turn, a player may discard an Ace card and play a Jack into a Monster Parts Zone.
Extra Jack does not count toward the once-per-turn Monster Parts Card limit, and can be
used even if you have already played a Monster Part during that turn.
drump07.jpg
Recycle
By discarding a Parts Card, you can either add a Parts Card in the discard pile to your hand,
or draw a card!! You can Recycle up to twice per turn.

Terms of Victory
Gather the Head, Wings, Body, and Tail, and...
DRUMP!!
Once you have all 4 Monster Parts Zones filled, shout "DRUMP!" to confirm your victory!!
However, if the player who went first is the first to call DRUMP, the second player has a
single turn to assemble their own DRUMP. If they do, the value of each DRUMP will be
compared to decide victory.
All Kings > All Queens > All Jacks > All 10s > Incomplete Hand
(Dragon) (Pegasus) (Hydra) (Chimera)
When both players have incomplete hands - Victory Determined by Point Value
If both players have incomplete hands, add up the values of each part, and compare the
point totals to determine victory.
10 = 10
Jack = 5
Queen = 12
Dragon = 13

DRUMP Q&A
Can I place cards in a single Force Zone whose values total 14 or more?
Σελίδα 4
Drump Card Game
No, you cannot. You can only place Force Cards in a Force Zone if the total card values
would equal 13 or less.
When one of my Force Zones is attacked, and the total value of my Force Cards and the
attack card is 13 or less, can I still block?
No, you may not. If the total value of the Force Cards and attack card is 13 or lower, the
attack fails then and can no longer be blocked.
