Title Media Cyclones

Tile Lined Heavy Media Cyclones:

Each ceramic tile is machined in the green state
and then fired to become an interlocking,
serialized component.

Although this process is relatively expensive,

the increased wear life that results is one
reason why Krebs Heavy Media Cyclones are
chosen over others that utilize flat tile.

Pre-Engineered tiles can come in two different

grades. They are used on FLSmidth inlet heads
to maximize service life.

After assembly of tile lined sections, all

cyclones are thoroughly inspected before
painting.

Krebs provides several ceramic tile lining

options with 1” to 1.5” thickness to optimize
wear life.
