Placement Agent Associate - Marketing for Private Equity, Real Estate & Venture Capital

Growing boutique placement firm based outside of Boulder, CO seeks an Associate to assist with
origination and eventually the placement of private equity funds, real estate funds, venture capital funds
and direct deals. We are seeking a talented individual who seeks a career raising capital in alternative
investments. The person will have the ability to work remotely on a small team, take on significant
responsibility and be able to exercise sound commercial judgment.

Duties include:

1. Originating deals;
2. Creating and editing deal summaries;
3. Generating marketing materials;
4. Assisting with Due Diligence;
5. Maintaining a CRM;
6. Writing a monthly blog or newsletter;
7. Goal of obtaining license for Series 7, 79 or 82 as well as 63.

Qualifications:
- BS or BA in Marketing/Finance/Economics
- 2-3+ years experience in Financial Services, ideally from a business development, client relationship
management, or product specialist role
- Previous investment fund raising experience acquired either within an investment bank, private equity or
real estate fund, private equity placement agent, investment manager, or financial advisor is ideal
- Fundamental understanding, or eagerness to learn of private equity, venture capital and real estate
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong software skills
- Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint
- Attention to detail
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Project maturity and sophistication to strategize and to work effectively with a broad array of clients
- Self-starter, with a high level of initiative and the resourcefulness to effectively problem solve
- Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects
- Team player with drive and discipline, who is well-organized and tenacious
