How we began – Jeremiah Prison
Ministry began on November 30,
1999, which was birth out of a
bond for a young man that made a
wrong choice in life..
Our Vision – to be able to go into
the prison chapels without the
inmates having to take us off their
visiting list. “We know with God
ALL things ARE Possible!
76 men have been released in 14
years. We still are ministering to
64 inmates in 6 states.

THE PEAR TREES ARE BLOOMING IN OUR AREA!
It’s amazing outside to see the beautiful Pear trees in bloom. Our plants are coming
up in our garden. I will be getting some annual to plants in our new flower pots too.
The old flower pots needed to be updated; I found some beautiful ones that have a
3 year warranty by Better Homes. I do believe spring has arrived!
HEALTH UPDATE
My eyes are doing great and my leg has healed nicely. Tom had his annual checkups
with his urologist and radiologist/oncologist and remains prostate cancer free for 6
years! This was his last year seeing his radiologist/oncologist. Praise The Lord!
I had my annual checkup with my dermatologist and remain skin cancer free for 5
years! I did have a concern with a spot on my tongue that developed in 2012, which
I kept forgetting to show him at my checkups. He told me it was leukoplakia and I
should see an oral surgeon because it could turn into cancer. I got in the car after
the visit and called the oral surgeon, the next day the nodule was removed as he
told me the same thing that it was leukoplakia and sent it off for a biopsy.
Hallelujah! It was not cancer; I would like to keep my tongue. I had four stitches in
my tongue for a week that was an experience. Please know my primary doctor and
dentist knew about it but neither knew what it was nor recommended seeing an
oral surgeon. Please be pro-active with your health.
OUR MONTHLY TRAVELS
We made several visitations to the prisons in April. We have a yearly schedule
spreadsheet for our visitations, naturally the snow, our health and the inmate’s
schedules have put a wrench in the schedule. But most of the time it does work.
We had our denominational district convention in Dover, Delaware. Tom serves as
the district secretary/treasurer so we were busy getting ready for the convention
with reports, minutes, and so forth. The convention was fast paced and we were
tired when we got home, especially with my tongue healing. Tom also ministered
several times during the month.
On a side note, since Tom gave his yearly report at convention, we made 50 prison
visits in PA for Jeremiah Prison Ministry, in ministry, Tom had the opportunity to
minister 20 times in 2013 in three states and we traveled over 13,422 miles for
ministry last year. I ministered twice in 2013 in WV
& MD.
We love being accountable to our district & to you.
LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE FOR JUVENILES
I will have more on this subject in our next
newsletter. I didn’t get a lot of time to do research
that I wanted to do.

~Pray for Jeremiah as we continue to
believe for a miracle for his release.
~Pray for continued healing for Bob &
Larry..
~Pray our granddaughter Leah she is
still having migraines. Leah will be 19
this month!
~Pray for Andy our grandson, he
carries a 3.96 avg. at DSU. His
wound is doing GREAT!.
~Pray for all our families- spiritually,
physically and financially.
~Pray continue to for my brother,
Norman. Pray for Tom’s brother,
John, as he is on dialysis.
~Pray for the salvation of the world.
Pray for inmates and their families,
our Nation, our leaders, our military
and their families.
~Pray for prison reform in our nation.
~Pray for Bill our dear friend & his
wife Rose for good health.
~Pray for Dotty & her husband Stan
for good health.
~Pray for us for strength and wisdom
in all we do, that we remain cancer
free and healthy to do God’s work, for
our cars to be mechanically sound.

Moses stuttered. David's armor didn't fit. John Mark was rejected by Paul. Timothy
had ulcers. Hosea's wife was a prostitute. Amos' only training was in the school of
fig-tree pruning. Jacob was a liar. David had an affair. Solomon was too rich. Jesus
was too poor. Abraham was too old. David was too young. Peter was afraid of
death. Lazarus was dead. John was self-righteous. Naomi was a widow. Paul was a
murderer. Jonah ran from God. Miriam was a gossip. Gideon and Thomas both
doubted. Jeremiah was depressed and suicidal. Elijah was burnt out. John the
Baptist was an introvert. Martha was a worry-wart. Mary was lazy. Samson had
long hair. Noah got drunk. Did I mention that Moses had a short fuse? So did Peter,
Paul -- well, lots of folks did. But God doesn't require perfection.
