Steps to use Stream option in

Google classroom
Stream :

 It’s like a notification area. You will get all activity notification here like:
student has posted assignment. Students have commented on a post.
 Other than notification, stream is also used to upload material which is
not related to classwork e.g circulars, important notices of school,
Posting cards to students on some occasions and many more ( think
about it…..)
 Click on stream tab from top

Click on share something with your class.

Now after posting notice etc there are 3 options:
Post : post immediately in class ( or you can select multiple classes)
Schedule : select the date and time for post , it will be uploaded
automatically on the specified date and time
For example: in the start of academic session , teacher can schedule
holidays, events in school or birthday card for students and can write
special note for them. For birthday only allow particular student to view
the post (look in picture how you restrict other students to view post)
Attlog-the-city school portal also sends us birthday wish because it is
scheduled to do so 
Draft:It is just like a template which you have created and saved. Any time
you can edit it and can use.

Click on classwork tab

Click on create
Click on assignment
From top click on assign
